I actually really really loved the movie. I had no knowledge of the story because I didn't watch the drama yet, and I didn't read the novel, but to me it was easy to understand what was happening anyways. The only part that was confusing was the ending because it's not clear what is going on with Ye Hua and Mo Yuan. I actually thought they were the same person lol and I have to confess that I like it better that way.
Also, I watched it before watching the drama because I think it's not fair to compare them both as the drama has tons of episodes and the movie is just 2h long. Obviously they can't develope the story as they should in that short period of time...
I don't really get the SW-SA ship. I mean, she's a ghost; that's just not possible, she can't even stay long or she'll become an evil spirit! And yeah, I get that life was bad with her because she couldn't experience a lot of things, but she's just doing the same to BS, she's taking away the opportunity of BS to experience love, because she truly likes Chef (and I do think he likes her). And that isn't fair for her. She's the one who is alive, and its her body. She should be the one living her life, not SA.
