its the real life and they can get harsher... they have no choice in accepting the fact that their parents can meddle and govern their lives. and age freedom doesnt fit here at all. they use the senile system where whoever is older than you has the better authority on urself as a person whether u r 90, 60,30 or even 10. its still their choice to obey their parents or not... buy 95% of south koreans stick to the traditions and that what made a true story and into a kdrama .... and thats why we are here... to discuss and get curious and talk about cultures and differences. i rambled on i am sorry.. ^^
