I'd say its because of her undertraining, she is strong and agile and has got her own technique after being taught by her father, we dont know how much training she received as a child but I am definitely not expecting she was trained by her father for the battlegrounds like Xie Zheng was trained as a child. Now coming back to her being agile, her close combat style is not something ppl on the field are expecting, I think she was able to beat Shi Hu coz she targeted the arms instead of the Vital spots and then hit the Vital spot, She was able to access the hands coz she is smaller and swift.

after that chang yu killing shi hu, it feels like the show has gotten too slow, too many fillers

I just have heard it's a really good show before and it has been on my PTW since forever, but when I started watching the low quality specs made me wonder if it's simply overhyped, now that I hear such detailed praises, I think i will continue watching and see how it goes....

just sharing shows i have watched in the past from around the same timeline, you can watch them if the plot intrigues you...I just started ep 2 of untamed ...if the plot can hold me in the graphics won't bother me either but at this point I dont see where it's going.

I am not a reader, so I dont know what happens in the book...though I too did feel it was absurd for that debt collector guy to have feelings for her...like that was so random, it felt unnecessary but so far I hv trust on the shoemakers, it might have a hidden reason....who knows he might sacrifice himself ...

that last 3 mins of killing Shi Hu had me on the edge of my chair, the action scenes are so well choreographed. Also the moment she realises he is the marquis, the change of music.......I love it....

I learnt about this historical figure called Fu Hao today she was a Royal consort and a General at the battle, her tomb was full of weapons including daggers and axes weighing about 9kgs and she seemed to have had a good family life.. I feel Chang yu fits the prototype somehow, I mean how on earth does a human throw another human like a tennis ball, it's the princess not your toy.
