For me the exact word to describe jiwoong-sungwan relationship is sibling or twin.
They love each other as they are close to each other since diapers.
They hurt when the other hurt, happy when the other happy. Sacrifice anything to protect the other. Seungwan doesnt looked like annoyed when jiwoong said he likes yurim, it doesnt bother her. But really pissed off when the teacher hit him.
They just see each other not in that romantic way, because they are literally like siblings.
They difinitely love each other but not in that romantic boy-girl thing.
This is what i see about jiwoong-seungwan.

I would like to share my opinion about why yijin as an adult play with bunch of teenager.

First, we saw he tried to see his friends at the club scene. But they turned him down even insult him, because their relationships was not sincere from the beginning, maybe those boys cling to yijin for a reason that yijin is wealthy, handsome, famous in his circle.
Then heedo come at the worst time he had nobody, and he was nobody. And unexpetedly heedo can understand him. They can help each other.
Then come seungwan that apreciated him as a sunbae that she respect so much. Then jiwoong that come a whole package as seungwan. Beside jiwoong also his junior in band. And jiwong adore yijin lately after they know more each other later.

So the teenager made a healthy relationship to yijin as a person nor because his wealthy and so over.

These are the reason yijin hang with them, it made him remember his youth spirit to keep moving on. Their sincerity is the reason.

And important to remember that yijin is still young too.. he is not ahjushi tho..

So why people make a fuss about it.
Their relationship is mutual. The teenager give him spirit to keep moving, and yijin gave them guidance.
This what i think.

The way yijin looked happy knowing that heedo made excuse to stay longer with him..

Yes, it makes sense. Maybe heedo learned from her mother not to talk about her dad after he passed away like it was never happened because it's hurt too much. So this is what present heedo does to her daughter.

I used to be silent reader for years here in MDL. But now couldnt help but join the club and sharing my thoughts too.. this is how much i love the drama. 😄

I am glad the director/writer choose yijin not to confess to heedo at her house that night and turned it into comedic scene by mother suddenly came in.
If yijin confess that night it wold be more chaotic now. Because we can feel their tension were so high yet very romantic, i couldnt help but hold my breath when yijin said that his feeling is not rainbow then grab her hand with their eyes dead serious. It could be very very romantic but maybe will be inappropriate for some of people due to adult-minor controversies, which is i dont see it as a problem tho.
Then they payback the tension confession into the very calm genuine beautiful confession of yijin at that bridge by seeing a beautiful rainbow, no tension, no enforcement, just him telling what he feels and nothing to do with heedo. It was the most beautiful confession i have ever seen.

Of course. When heedo just told him that she was confused about her feeling at gymnasium it made him very happy, we can see his laughing with teary eyes for the unexpected confession.
I couldnt imagine how much he would be happy if she told him she realized the love for him..
Just imagining it can make butterflies for me.
