one of the 'oldies"... but a nice one 😉 the 'music' annoyed me a bit, had to regulate the volume 🤣🤣 the intro scene with the train and He Zhong Hua is epic and funny 🤣

such a lovely actress 💗 God bless her 💕.... maybe a quieter life isn't that bad for anybody either, although i miss her 🙂

one of the BEST cdramas, for me🥰... I've rewatched it several times already😝 when there is a time space in between other airing dramas which interest me, it's a wonderful filler, i don't get tired of it😂... I'll watch few epsds, before a new drama is on air, then return to it later on 🙂 i like this story a lot🙂.....also, the Fox 🦊 and Monkey 🐒 couple are gorgeous 😍

not normal, although there were in Chinese history some nasty eunuchs greedy for power and controlling the emperor, occasionally

decisions of two families are shown here, and although i do side with Lins' who chose to live and serve the usurper, Shen family chose to die for political truth🤨although very patriotic, it was suicidal 🤨as we know from history, this line of Ming dynasty, resulting from the usurper, did prosper for many generations,so there will never be a decree exhonorating Shens

🤭acc to previous emperor's decree, Shen Jalan should be in a brothel 🤭 who would want that🤭 it's better to be Lanxiang at this point and spare everyone's lives involved in this "lie"

for securities sake, he burned all that stuff which might point other people to figure out her identity, since acc to dead usurper emperor's decree, Shens should be dead, and here she is, alive

revealing Lanxiang's biological identity would be rather dangerous, not only to her, who supposed to be dead or in a brothel, acc to emperor's decree, but also to Lin family for harbouring her🥴... i suppose 🤔 Lanxiang can never serve this branch of Ming dynasty emperors, since the usurper emperor, killed her family with a decree.... maybe her 'way' was this, and ml's 'way',in the beginning, was to serve the emperor whose father exterminated Shens🥴

maybe they got impatient, waiting for revelation of LanXiag's identity🫢also..plenty of deaths

wow😀this drama is very thoughtfully made..for future viewers, if they don't follow the comments section, as the episodes are released, they'll be missing a lot of explanations 😂

frog boiling effect 🤨 someone dies, and next u know, they are rejoicing from something else...in the end, both leads will be gone, and next scene they'll show us they grandkids getting married 🤨 i don't know, just saying

thank u for lovely updates 😘

a rather boring finale, for an exciting ride throughout 😛...maybe the ratings will drop too😐

historically, there's this incident in the beginning of Ming dynasty, where an uncle deposed his, lawfully reigning, nephew emperor, and usurped the throne...from this usurper uncle, a very successful Ming dynasty developed, while deposed nephew with his little son, fled somewhere and were lost to history 🙂...naturally, there would be families who would consider the emperor uncle, as an usurper, like Shens did, but it's unwise to oppose a successful, powerful reigning emperor....the emperor showed mercy to Shen grandpa, asking him to write a statement to acknowledge him as rightful emperor, not an usurper, and it'd save his family, but grandpa Shen refused😛no democracy😛 Lin family submitted the obedience letter to reigning emperor, and cut themselves from Shens, who claimed their loyalties to deposed emperor

yeah , seems like, it was solely Shen grandpa's stubbornness to oppose raining emperor and call him an usurper 🤕 as gramma Shen said, they expected the execution, but only for the ol' couple, not the whole family.. and that was naive on their part, because Lin grandpa understood at once that his whole family was in danger, and searched all possible legitimate ways to save his family.....Shen grandpa could have done the same, but chose differently..... so, i don't understand why Lanxiang holds it against Lins...

wow🤯😘

🤣🤣

wow...this storyline is very rich....❤️ I'm enchanted ❤️

😘 nice to see ye watching the same show 😘

i believe she meant, unreliable for social backup in high up circles 😏 Lin family can't rely on FL's family for social support in upper society
