the children's episodes of Iljimae, i admit, was a deterrent. i normally don't like those eps, but they are part of the story... but when the adult actors come, then the story starts to build up to it's unfathomable conclusion!

for movies, i recommend Ajussi for action, won bin was so deliciously mysterious there!

for j movie, try Memories of Matsuko, it's a bit convoluted but very, very good story.

i agree, Can you hear my heart was dragging esp at 20-26 but it was still the best for me, i love the lead guy, he's a very good actor.

hmm, just checked my list, 2011 really wasn't that great for me, i have CYHMH as the only one rated 10, and the next best thing was White Christmas, i rated it a 9. have you seen it? very short 8 eps drama.

i prefer movies too, i'd rather watch 3/4 movies a night than marathon a drama, but dramas give more depths to the characters and so ends up either liking them or hating them. hmm, idk...

i rate dramas by how often i rewatch them, a 10 for me means that i've seen it many times. ;)

i can't remember the first asian drama i watched but Stairway to heaven was the catalist for me, i still remember that guy crying at the front of the restaurant, so, so sad, and then there was that song, Bogoshipda, that's it, i was doomed.

I'll wait for Flower boy Next door to finish airing before i watch it, i don't like waiting! :)

I loved Can you hear my heart, i gave it a 10, that's my fave drama for 2011, my only 10 rating that year! must be a bad year...

King of dramas, was okay, entertaining... that's all i can say about it. oops, it's one of your fave drama! :)

C Alice, not interested, i'm gonna concentrate on watching jdrama for a few months, since i only watched 3 or 4 dramas last year so i need to catch up on last year's shows.

also i'm into micky yoochun atm so i'm still rewatching eps of sungkyunkwan scandal, rooftop prince, and i miss you at least once a day.

I love Koizora the movie as well but not my fave, i prefer fantasy as you know, esp those eternal beings like robot or vampire.

if you started watching dramas in 2007, then you must have watched a lot more than 74, i started watching at about the same year, i think.

this drama is so agonizingly slow, luckily there is that fast forward button!

Me Too Flower was the last drama i finished when you asked me and i thought it was ok, but i would not recommend it to anybody unless they're a fan of the actor/actress/etc...
for ITWY, it's a slow process but i loved every minute of it and the ending is already a given, it's the journey there that's the best part.
anyway, must start gaksital when i finish Kaseifu...

Me too flower wasn't too bad, i enjoyed watching it and didn't even fast forward. i also started watching Bridal mask but i got stuck at ep 5, i kept getting distracted by something else...
most stories of these dramas are repetitive but sometimes you'll find a gem that you know what the endings are gonna be but still watch them just because of actors, actress or some other reasons. it's what we call the asian drama addiction...
i've already seen A Man's Story, a while ago, it was quite good if i remember and i also liked the main lead actor, i've seen him in some other dramas and i quite like him. don't know his name but i know his face, i'm one of those people who can never remember asian name, it's a sickness for me.
i love In Time With you, one of my favourite drama and i'm sure you'll fall in love with the main guy, he's so hot and you'll feel his agony at those times with her!
