i just love to imagine that the hairpin traveled with her not knowing where it came from, just the last link to her previous life that she couldn't remember, and the then prince, looking at the other one in solace, comforting himself, maybe in between that 8 years of separation, he would go look for the box with the label "Rain", trying to remember but at the same time trying to forget, it was so lovely when the two hairpin got together at last, that moment made me cry buckets! and i love that title, it was intriguing to me.
so what are you watching nowadays?

this drama makes me so sad! and that song, Every Moment Of You was so touching, everytime it played i felt like crying! i'm now in denial mode, he's not gonna leave, not gonna die, i don't care if he looses all his power, as long as it's a happy ending, i just don't care about anything anymore!
i wish KSH had more dramas so i can watch them till the last 2 eps air, but he's only got 3, and 2 movies. i've seen jungle fish, not so good, so i'll probably end up watching METS again, i just love that drama!
i don't know of any other currently airing that's as good as MLFAS, even half as good would be tolerable but nothing i fancy atm. i'm waiting for I Need Romance 3 to end then i'll start watching that. and there are some new jdramas i'm also waiting to finish airing. i 'm not gonna watch anymore airing dramas, the waiting is killing me and and it gets me so obsessed with it, i can't watch anything else!!!

Takki!
i love him, i've seen some of his drama, my fave is Strawberry on the Shortcake. and Majo no Jouken, that's very good as well. i still have 4 of his dramas that i haven't seen yet, Antique, Taiyou no kisetsu, Midnight bakery and Akoutu, just waiting for me when i have more time for him... in your On Hold list, Boku Dake No Madonna is quite good, i recommend that one!
that is how my list got long, i tend to stalk an actor and watch all his/her drama that i could find and then move on to the next obsession...
about 6/7 years now, not sure anymore

just looked at your list, i like the way you rate! i always say don't be frugal with rating, if one likes the drama/movie then one should give high rate!

well, i tried to start Who Are You?, the 2008 kdrama, but i keep going back to MLFAS, so i decided to rewatch Moon Embracing the sun, which took all of my weekend because i watched it 3x in a row! but the answer to your question is no, i haven't seen any new good kdramas or jdramas lately...:(
that last ep, 17, for some reason, i just wanna cry! i was so tearful but managed to hold it in, it just made me so sad! i can't believe this drama is driving me crazy, i'm so obsessed with KSH it's ridiculous!
those interview scenes that he does once in a while, have you thought about who is doing the interview? i think it's CSY, i've been thinking about those scenes and the last ep made me realise that he might be talking to her... or is he just recording it for his own file, but what would be the point of that?
so...
gonna go watch Moon embracing the sun again...

of course i did!
at the end of ep 17, i was so, so sad, i should be happy because that's what we all want him to do but since he made that decision, i just felt like crying!
i'm gonna suffer so much after this drama ends, i'm already having withdrawal symptoms!
anyway, i rewatched The Moon Embracing the Sun, 3 times in a row, yes, the whole drama, 3x in a row! that took care of my whole weekend... luckily, i have the dvd so i just FF>> the politics scenes... and my rating was right after all, it's a 10 for me, no doubt about it! the story, directing and the acting is why i gave it 10, the music was also good, there were lot and lots of close up shots of oori Manager Do, in his glorious, best looking self, (i think he's the best looking actor in costume drama!) should i continue convincing you? :)

i found a download link but not the subs, maybe it will be done later, i haven't watched it yet but it looked like the drama from ep 1-15 condensed to one hour.
i also heard that it will be extended. :)

5 best korean rom-com, that's hard, never think of it but looking at my list in alphabetical order:
Flower boy Ramyun shop - so cheesy but the timing was so perfect
My Girl - old drama but really entertaining
My name is kim san soon - the best
Protect the boss - lots of fun
Salaryman - so hilarious esp the epilogue
of course i haven't checked J & T dramas and I don't watch chinese dramas so...
what about yours, let's see if we have one in common!

umm, i didn't want to say anything about it but you asked for it!
the chemistry, to me, was non existent, sadly, and the girl was like a stone... and yes, it was all about fighting for the crown and baddies needing more undeserved power as most saeguk dramas are...
but who cares about that, all you need is to watch manager do and you'll feel a lot better until next week and new eps are aired! i don't think it was a waste of 20 hours, i'm thinking of rewatching it this weekend.

historical drama fave: i've checked my list, only watched 7 in total, i'd say Sunkyunkan scandal is the fave, arang was also good except for the ending. i only watched them because of the actors...
that Tdrama, was it In a Good Way? i'm gonna watch that as soon as all eps and subs are done, i'm not very patient, lot's of people seems to like it...
there should be a special My Love From Another World today but i can't seem to find any link for it, do you know about it and where i can find the download link?

Yes I gave The Moon Embracing The Sun a 10, i was feeling generous and watching our alien lover in it was the only reason i started it. and he was good, it's impossible not to be moved by his acting esp his tears.
anyway, re Moon/Sun, the 1st 4 eps were the back story when the prince was about 15, the character was played by this new korean sensation, Yeo Jin Goo,
http://mydramalist.com/actor/1500/yeo-jin-goo
(he also starred as the child actor in Missing You, one of my fave drama, he's really good)
then, the main actors come after that, with lot's of angst and longing for the lost first love, and eventually fantasy comes into play as well. but The Moon Embracing The Sun is actually a pair of hairpins (so were back to the hairpin, coincidence?)
i was actually thinking of rewatching it last week, because of the 1 ep week, but decided on Dream High instead.
if you need more convincing, ask!

AHH, i've seen A Love To Kill, good drama! I love melos, but they need to end happy for me to give them a high rate. i prefer fantasy though, and costume dramas are to be avoided at all cost unless i like the actor. i've only seen a handful and moon/sun is one of them.
Hmm. I'm trying to embed a pic but it doesn't seem to be working...
how to do?

i also rewatch them sometimes, except for city hunter, i've seen it while it was airing and that was enough, might watch it again sometime when i'm in LMH slump. but i loved Nice Guy too! i fought with a good friend once because she gave it a very bad review here! also, i like 1997 more than 1994, simply because the eps were not as long, probably watched it 5 or 6 times after it aired.
i also don't like historical, simply because of the costumes and politics, so very annoying! i maybe watched only a handful, maybe less than 10? we're definitely friends here then! :)
OMG! have you seen ep 14? the evil brother, i really, really want him dead! i hate him so much! i've never hated a villain this much since that vile mother in Secret Garden! tell me waht you think of the new ep pls!

finally, new ep! i can breath again! have you seen it? OMG it was ..., i won't say anything until you've seen it. only that the ending was so sad and beautiful. I can't wait for the next one! I hope the Olympics won't disrupt the airing next week, that would be a disaster! :(
about my suggestion, i recommend Nine, i know that it's in your PTW list. it was one of the only 2 dramas i rated 10 for 2013, it was a very very clever drama, but the first 2 or 3 episode was a bit slow, and might deter you but just hang in there, it's setting up the table for the plot, rules, etc and it will get so very interesting and confusing (for me anyway). if you want to know what it's about go here:
oh yeah! he needs super power, totally agree with you there. have you seen the last one? only one this week, so annoying!
it's hard to find a good drama when one is in a slump. i don't know what genre you like and looking at your list, i don't know how you rate dramas so i couldn't even suggest any for you. :(

hmmm... when i'm in a slump, my first choice is Boys before Flowers, i love all the songs there, and of course, Lee Min Ho... or Tatta Hitotsu no koi, or Coffee Prince... or some other depending on my mood... ATM, i'm thinking of rewatching The Moon That Embraces the Sun, and Dream High, i have this need to watch manager do!
what about you? what would you rewatch over and over?
re mfts - let's just hope that we'll get the happy ever after ending, it's too depressing to think otherwise.
