I think BMS didn't do well for a number of reasons, none of which were really his fault, so that's too bad. And I agree that he may have felt discouraged bc of it, and that's why he took almost a 2 year acting break.
But he did another fan live just yesterday, and in short said he's making a comeback this year, so I'm beyond relieved and excited. So let's all be patient now and cheer him on. Good things are coming soon now.

Well, Barcode left and Copper is on leave, and probably BOC didn't have a lead project in the near future to give him without either of those 2, so it's nice they can let him take on other work elsewhere.
But I do have to admit, his pairing choice in this is... ??😬??. And overall, him being in this project looks a bit desperate, cast in another ensemble to be used for NC. But what options does he have? I just hope to see him have another opportunity to step up in his career after this, and that this won't set him back somehow.

Maybe 3rd time will be the charm for Pond, in whatever series he does next.

But I can see that. Poor Cheque, I remember what a lot of the response was to him in VITS. He's in no way worse or more unattractive than the majority of the actors I see getting work and leading projects.

I still adore SkyJao to this day. How the hell did it come to this, after years of nothing at IDF, he just unceremoniously leaves... What a waste. And I don't think we'll ever learn the truth about why he was so neglected by that company for so long.
If he has any more ambition to act, then I hope he'll rise from this and go on to actually be in series again. I hope to see him thrive, whatever he chooses to do.

He opened a new restaurant-café as well, and it looks like he wants to have it be a family-run beloved base and attraction for his hometown, which is beautiful. It's got a stage for local acts to come and perform at, with quite a lot of room and decorating. I have to visit one day. I wish them the best of luck. I'm sure it'll be a great success and become a landmark in Saraburi for generations.

But I still hope he really re-dedicates himself to acting. He said in a live recently that he's been turning down offers that he feels wouldn't have worked, and didn't detail the reasons. Whatever the insecurity, I miss him so badly being charming and stunning onscreen. Trust yourself, First. Take on more roles and give it your all.
I'm praying with all my might for Vamp to be EPIC and let him shine.

I almost want to say as well, I hope there's a set production date that Jeff and Becky are locked down for. If they have to wait for schedules to align, then this series may never even happen, lol. Or at least not with those 2 in those roles. They're 2 of the busiest celebrities in Thailand, is that not correct?

Hmm. They both seem to be good actors, but I'm not sure I see them starting a craze as a pairing. Their visuals aren't a match IMO, and Pond's hair is terrible in the pilot. The plot is kind of overdone and a bit tired too. But at least it looks well-funded. We'll see.

I'd love for First and Nont to be standouts though. I hope they get better things off of this.

It's maddening he doesn't work more. I think he's stunning.
Maybe if he was just more adventurous and driven about roles? I understand he and Ja went their separate ways and that's fine, but 2024 just went to waste as far as him acting, and I see very mid actors being booked all the time.
I want to see him grow and really blow people away and gain more fame.
I'm praying for him in 2025.

From what Ive heard about the series concepts, to how long its taking for production to begin, Im really just going to try and lower my expectations for this. People here and on X, ig, etc have all kinds of hopes and ideas for the story and characters, and I just know its going to be none of those things. If its really somehow just going to be a Mike Angelo semi-biographical vanity project with a vampire action twist, then its better to just accept disappointment now and be open to being surprised.

Mike's only ever been known to be straight, has a child, and has only played straight roles (with one little exception). So I feel pretty sure Mike and First are just amusing themselves giving First's fans and bl fans in general moments to squee over.
But only time will tell if they turn out to be anything real, or if they'll ever play lovers.
Vamp definitely feels like a wasted opportunity though in that respect. It almost feels like, well if it's not MikeFirst as the romantic leads, then what's the point?
And then I have to feel bad, bc this series has been one of Mike's dreams for a long time, but I'm not sure how well a big budget, HET action vampire series will realistically do when Thailand is the BL capital of the world, and when Mike's gotten so publicly close as friends with First, a bl actor. I guess we'll see.

Becky and First have also been friends for a long time, since they were in TharnType together, so it's just so complicated.

It's Mike's first series that he's producing and has full creative control over, so don't be surprised he doesn't know what he's doing.
It's only been a couple weeks since he was last seen storyboarding episode 1 on a whiteboard and explaining the story in his head to who was hopefully the writing team, lol. So who can say when they'll have a final script to film or what quality said script will even be!

No, pilot trailers are created to generate interest and attract sponsors. Pilots are made to be a proof of concept to secure the bigger resources needed to then be able to film the full series.

I feel like it's safe to say by now that this one had to have been silently canceled. All news and press about it has been dead for months. Neither the company or actors are commenting.
And it's a shame. But maybe it got too expensive and they didn't meet funding needs.
Maybe this one just wasn't meant to happen. I still hope we'll see a great mer fantasy BL in the near future.

I actually wish this hadn't been announced until it was a lot further along in production. There isn't even a script yet. Getting your audience excited for a project that's still so far off can backfire horribly and result in tired disinterest and hate by the time the series finally comes out.
Also, this really would have cooked as a BL.
Idk, seems to me this project has already set itself up for some challenges being successful.

Almost eveything is perfect here, I just wish Ford was doing more than playing the best friend again.
I wonder if his character might end up paired with AJ's in this by the end.
