Currently on ep 3. But watched the Japanese version drama and movie a little while ago and it was one of my recent favorites. Since it was on Viki, decided to try it. So far, I think they added a lot of stuff that makes sense and goes well with the main plot points. Excited to see where it goes.
Absolutely unhinged (esp. ep 8), cheesy, and well-produced. I went in with low expectations and loved every minute of it. Looking forward to starting season 2 when I get a chance.
I’ve been avoiding watching this drama because of the MDL score…I actually really enjoyed it. Especially the last couple episodes where the story went below the surface level mentally/emotionally. It’s worth a watch despite what the score says.

Yeah. Currently watching it for the MDL Watch Challenge. I think if it wasn't for the challenge, I would have dropped it by now (Just finished ep 10). I want to love it so much, maybe it's the age of the drama, the characters, or something.....but I'm kinda meh on it.
I have been anticipating the drama since I saw the announcements for it. I saw it was fully subbed so I gave it a shot. I didn't have high hopes for it but wanted to watch it.
Just finished the drama. I've read the first 5 volumes of the manga a little while ago. Not the best manga in the world, but I enjoyed reading it. I think it stays pretty close to the manga from what I remember. The story is out of order and there were scenes that were altered to be more budget friendly.
Ultimately, I think the drama didn't have much to work with...it's a smutty josei. You are there for a little something something 👀including cheesy dialogue/scenes/etc., not quite for an intense plot. The low budget definitely didn't help. But enjoyed it for what it was.
Currently half way through the drama...so my thoughts might change a bit. But I've read the entirety of the manga last year. I enjoyed the manga, not my favorite, but it's a cute story. It's worth checking out if you have the time.
I got excited to see there's a J-Drama version of it when trying to find something to watch. So far, there's parts that I'm enjoying (~95% so far)....but then...there's the other ~5%. The other 5% are scenes that....I feel like they could have been omitted and/or just insinuated what happened off screen. Or it could have been filmed it in another way. Like there's scenes where someone went *WiLd!* with the fog machine solution budget. It's a shame because when it's cute, it's cute. When it's .....smutty..., it's really really weird. (Like....lets do finger puppets...? on a rustling love hotel comforter? While fruits are being ejected from the bed? like wtf did i watch?)
TDLR; Cute, but skip a couple minutes ahead to skip the smut scenes. Unless, you are into ....interesting...scenes.

It has been subbed in the middle of last year, (https://furritsubs.wordpress.com/2022/06/03/anata-no-ban-engsubs/ - here's the link to subtitle file), but you need a 1080 rip of the movie. I found one on Nyaa. For the one I found, I switched out the Japanese subtitle for the english subs. There was a really slight delay but still worked.
I was trying to find it on dramacool or a similar website but haven't seen it uploaded on there yet.
I remember reading this manga and loving it when I was in 7th or 8th grade. Probably one of my favorites back then (thinking back to the plot..big oof to my younger self). But knowing the plot previously, it definitely helped me decipher the movie a little better. There were some changes and major omissions to the original plot but you have a 12 volume manga to squeeze into 2 hours. Omissions and changes happen *a lot* with manga inspired movies/dramas.
I was interested in watching it since it came out despite the score. I recently saw Mamiya Shotaro and Itagaki Mizuki (they are both adorable.) were part of the cast and decided to plop down and watch it. Lots of bizarre choices with Script, OST, Editing, etc.
If you are deciding whether or not to watch it, I'd skip it.
Ahhhh! I'm really going to miss this one! I really enjoyed it!! A lot better ending than the K-drama I feel. It cut down on the last couple episodes where it felt like the show was floundering around rather than ending it on a high note.
Towards the end, I couldn't help but think of the one scene in Wedding Crashers (the movie with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson) where the one girl is super crazy for Vince Vaughn's character and is like 'You better not leave me, because i'lllll finnnnddd you~!!' I couldn't help but silently cackle to myself while there was a super cute and serious scene was happening.

Looks like it so far, but they made it a thing to give her the 2010 coins too....? I think she'll travel back too in the beginning of the next episode.
I really wanted to like this...I tried watching the anime and manga before but it didn't really captivate me like I would have hoped. Thought maybe the movie would be better and I'd maybe enjoy it more because it's live action...NOPE.
I went into the movie blind and I am beyond baffled about the decision to make this a musical. I enjoyed Kento's performance but that's about it for me.
