What do people enjoy in this drama... I am not saying it is a horrible drama, but it is clearly overated... The…
He did not start the death camp as a child. The camp already existed. Senior figures ran it first. He later took control with their backing once he came of age. The story explains this through dialogue and flashbacks. His authority came from inheritance, political support, and gradual consolidation of power, not from leading it at ten years old. The leads also had strong chemistry, which showed through their interactions, emotional pacing, and shared screen presence, making the romance feel earned rather than forced. Not every drama needs loud passion or constant conflict to sell a relationship.
It is disgusting. She is underage after all. Pairing a 17 year old with a grown man in his late 20s is not acceptable. Age gaps like this carry power imbalance. Calling it love does not change the facts. This is shameful.
I have tried to watch this drama for years, but every time I start the first episode, I never finish it. I am never in the mood to continue. I already watched the K-drama version and enjoyed it, but it feels like it spoiled the story for me. I already know what happens, so there is no excitement or anticipation.
Seriously what kind of a character is she ? (Da-rim) ? First she lied to Ji-hyeok about her married to seon-u…
She does not know the depth of his feelings. Her life is full of pressure and problems. She is dealing with men chasing her with guns. Her mother is in the hospital and needs life saving treatment. She only thinking about keeping her job so her mother receives care and then pay the mortgage. Love is not a priority for her right now, she in a survival mode.
It was a new experience for him. He fell so hard but you think he should instantly quell those feelings because…
He actually trying to create distance but she constantly in need of him saving her, protecting her and she is also kinda leading him. Anyways is just complicated scenario. I hope she comes clean and tell him the truth
This show has been in my watchlist for a while..everytime i see how many episodes are there, i get skeptical starting it. Is it worth watching it, i dont mind the long episodes but worried it might not keep engages through all those episodes.
I finally finished my most anticipated drama of the year. I waited until it was complete, and i tried my best avoid spoilers. The chemistry between the leads was incredible. The fight scenes were top-tier. The plot had holes, but some of them worked in an interesting way. Aslo why ruin the SML charac for one sided love, his story was more interesting than both leads. I understand much of the criticism. The expectations for the legendary female character fell short. In the early episodes, her acting didn’t fully match the background of someone raised as a boy. Instead of focusing on reclaiming what was hers and seeking revenge, she often came across as chasing the male lead and being cute or girly.
