The Crucible and I'm a Cyborg But That's Okay are two of my favorite movies, so I'll definitely look into your third suggestion! As an added bonus, I'm a sister and have two others, so maybe that will spark a connection with the movie for me. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I need to branch out of Korean cinema.
I've only seen Yoochun and Yunho in dramas (Missing You and Queen of Ambition, respectively), and I thought their acting was on the same level, but the material I have to compare probably isn't enough.
Although, Yunho was adorable as Baek Do Hoon and I will never get over his character. ;P
Hansel and Gretel, my first Kmovie. did the trick of getting me pulled in. I keep pushing back watching Tale of Two Sisters, though. The poster and plot description make it seem very frightening.
ooh, I remember this! When I was just entering drama land I saw it everywhere and it was always praised, so I thought it was that type of essential thing, like one couldn't be called a drama fan without having seen it. Of course I watched. Best and worst decision of my life.
Thank you for reminding me of Air Doll. I watched it a few months ago and think it's a really great movie. I don't watch J-dramas/movies much but the plot description interested me. It's an inspiring movie that makes you think about life.
My advice: be careful with saeguks/historical dramas. If someone doesn't have a strong interest in history it might scare them away.
I completely agree with using I'm a Cyborg But That's Okay. It's a really great comedy that definitely can appeal to people who mostly watch western entertainment works.
One of my first movies in the Asian drama world was A Millionaire's First Love. That definitely helped reign in my interest.
On the other hand, Coffee Prince was my first drama and it worked to start my obsession even though this was before my interest in manga/anime/anything in the world of Asian entertainment.
wait, wait, wait. This is based off the movie Love Me Not starring MGY and this drama version has the main from Autumn Tale? I have the feeling that 2013 will be an amazing year.
Haha. Yo, yo, yo, Woo Bin, my boy. He needed to be in more of that drama and more dramas in general.

Yes, one of my favorite animes, loving the manga as well! I looked at your fav. dramas and I'm glad to see that someone with similar tastes likes Painter of the Wind. I'm looking forward to watching that one once I get the time.
Coffee Prince was my first drama and I still find it to be amazing. Ah, now I want to watch Mulan again. Just thinking about that movie almost brings me to tears.
I've seen First Time and think it is a great movie! There's a lot of emotions in it, but my favorite thing is how beautiful the movie itself is. They staged everything perfectly. I put the other two on my PTW list. Great article!
I'm not a big fan of either actor, but the title sounds good, I love movies, and I never get tired of the tomboy main character bit, so this'll be going on my PTW list.
(though it's his fault my kdrama/movie interest led to kpop interest, *shaking my fist*)
Although, Yunho was adorable as Baek Do Hoon and I will never get over his character. ;P
