Hi, may I ask what was the other mini series that you really liked? :) Thank you
Hi, thank you very much for your reply! I always look for dramas with great chemistry between leads and I feel that sometimes I need to watch something shorter, so I put this drama on my watchlist, as I also like revenge-driven stories. It wil be amazing, if I also find the overall delivery great. :)
This drama is not following the novel. Just forget about the novel.
Hi, things happened and I wasnt in the right mood, so I put the drama on hold after a few eps. But thank you for letting me know to be prepared for what the drama would serve. :D
The novel has a HE. But we don’t know about this drama.
Thank you so much for letting me know! I must admit that I am surprised that the novel has a happy ending, but I am glad to hear that because it means I can treat my broken heart from a drama by reading the novel (if needed) :D
I am on ep 8 and still cant see the chemistry between leads that people mention. is it still too early, or I am just one of those people for which it doesnt work? (I have watched interviews and other videos with main actors and I found them very sweet, but I dont see it in cdrama yet)
Just a quick comment ;D on "The title sounded so silly..."If you knew what the previous title they had before…
I dont know, Eternal Love as a title doesnt sound so bad to me, more like a cliche. "Love Between Fairy and Devil" sounds a little bit childish, and I was afraid that it would have such a vibe. But I think that I read somewhere that the first script was steam punk story or something completely different, so apparently they made a lot of changes. :D
Thank you for this article. I just love this cdrama. I started watching it more by an accident, after I was disappointed by watching a different drama and was curious how good the no. 1 drama on iqiyi would be. The title sounded so silly and I dived into it with expectation that I would drop it after a few episodes. How wrong I was! I was hooked on right from the start. I was sold by visual effects and the execution of the trope (which is my favourite one) first, then I indulged in the superb acting and amazing chemistry between the leads, my heart started skipping beats when I saw what amazing lines the script presented ( I think the lesson about compassion that Orchid gave to DFQC was the first one when I was really amazed by their dialogue). besides that I couldnt stop listening to the soundtrack , not to mention that the costumes used in this drama are gorgeous. What really separated this drama from other projects for me was that everything (including cliches) was done correctly/ in right amount and you could see signs of healthy relationship between the main characters (e.g. respect about the choices), which was something I didnt see before. For me it is definitely drama of the year 2022.
Thank you for this interesting article. I have just finished watching Nirvana in Fire yesterday. :D
Well, I havent watched enough dramas to make TOP10 cdrama list, but I really LOVED watching the following dramas: - Untamed - The Word of Honor - Gank Your Heart - The Day of Becoming You - The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion
When it comes to Nirvana in Fire, it was definitely an outstanding drama (especially script-wise), but may be I had too high expectations as everybody praised it a lot, so I thought it would be more epic and exciting. Because of that it lost some points on enjoyment scale for me. You´re My Glory has also good story with delivering a great message and amazing shooting locations and beautiful cast, but here again, I didnt feel the sparks between the couple or I wanted to see more depth in some scenes focusing on the problems of characters. There are many dramas that are highly rated or popular (other examples would be Love is Sweet, Hikaru no Go, Long Ballad), but they werent such big hit for me, because I didnt fall for the main actor/s or there was something missing in the story for me.
Anyway, in future I want to watch Joy of Life and may be also Go Ahead, so I hope I will enjoy those series.
OMG, you read my mind. When I was watching the first episode of TFH, I kept thinking about Chicago Fire, during…
Thank you for letting me know that CF got better, I think that I actually watched S7 and a few eps from S6. to my surprise the rescue scenes were amazing there and I like that sometimes you also get some explanation why certain part of the rescue was carried out certain way. The problem with FH for me is that many parts of those rescue/medical scenes dont make much sense to me, like they lack logic.
Just watched episode five and six ,, episode five is useless ,,, episode six is ruined by horrible editing and…
OMG, you read my mind. When I was watching the first episode of TFH, I kept thinking about Chicago Fire, during ep 2 of TFH I couldnt help and keep thinking about switching to CF instead (I watched it till mid season 5 in 2019)... I thought that I read that TFH tried to go for realistic portrayal of firefighters/doctors but I dont understand where I should look for the authenticity.
I was so surprised to see article with Gong Jun´s picture after I opened mydramalist - for a few seconds I couldnt comprehend what I was looking at. :D Thank you very much for this list and also for your impression about each title. I really loved Gank Your Heart (as they didnt give up chasing their dreams) and then (especially the first half of) Begin Again was amazing for me. I have also watched Love Equations which had interesting moments and I want to finish Perfect and Casual, but modern cdramas usually dont work so well with me, but may be I need a particular type that would keep me intested. T.T Anyway the gif for Always Have and Always made me really curious about this drama, as I recognized this male lead from Love Equations where I liked his performance a lot.
(because I usually care only about ending for the main couple. ^^:)

I dont want details, I just wonder if I should prepare myself to get my heart broken.
I am in Central Europe zone, but any information would be helpful. Thank you

How is it possible for the fire rescue team to go without oxygen masks to a burning building?
Dont they risk smoke poisoning?
