Well that "competition" was an anti-climatic shady sham that served zero purpose...but OK. Moving on...the fact that they set up such sexual tension between Poon & Athip only to have feather "kisses" while one of them acts like he's in high school is driving me mad. It's Hidden Love again & no thanks. On another note...bye bye Amy.
Unpopular Opinion: I thought Theo from Enchante was the most selfish character in a BL series...but Kuea has taken the title! The WORST timing! Ugh!!! I was OK with the first couple of episodes of Kuea lying but there he was having the nerve to be pissy with Lian about Lian not telling him about the deeds when Kuea was lying every second sentence out of his mouth! And not only does Kuea realize the child that he is waaaaaaayyyyyy too late but he selfishly pulls that shite at his future father-in-law's birthday party & embarrasses everyone including poor sap Lian who has been accepting his lies & STILL loves his shady ass?
The chemistry started to show when they finally let the chef smile and giggle at his new partner in ep 3. That…
My Sweet Dear...horrible. I hated it & I hated that I hated it but there was no chemistry between the ML. And Jang was gorgeous in it! I would give my right arm for a WYEL sequel because Jang barely spoke & they were still fire!
Putting that aside, lesser budget/fewer actors is one thing but not having a good story is another. I can get past the shitty makeup but I can't get past the choppy scenes that have no flow. Ep 4...opens with a flashback with a dude we saw for 2 seconds last week...then there are kids in Han's bedroom? Where the hell did these kids come from? Did Holland make them Udon because then the next scene poof they're gone!! And did the girl write the bad review? And like why can't he ever buy enough ingredients? See? This was 15 minutes wrapped into a handful of sentences that have nothing to do with one another & no connection. I'm trying but these basic questions do not require a big budget or more actors or even different ones...it requires content. Again, I am not hating. I am trying to see what you are seeing.

I think that 15 minute episodes don't allow a lot of time for much, therefore I expect quite a bit. In Cherry Blossoms & Semantic Error, Because of You, Blueming, Color Rush...just to name a few, the chemistry was instant. I saw it, felt it. These shows had stories behind them that made sense & they paid attention to the continuity & flow of the characters. Even if I had to suspend disbelief, especially with the Color Rush concept, the story still made sense & engaged me. This show is choppy. One scene doesn't flow with the next. Lots of questions that could easily be forgotten about if there was some sort of distraction. I have a hard time feeling anything but confusion. I came here for Han because he was brilliant in the 10 minutes each week for WYEL so this should have been an easy sell as far as I am concerned. But I'm not feeling any chemistry in any episode & I want to. I don't think I'm hating on the show rather just disappointed & I hate that.
Well things are starting to look sexy when Mr. Handsome Stranger walked in!! BTW, is Tommy supposed to be sick or are they just making sure they make him look like he's permanently coming down with something? And where is this chemistry between the 2 ML?
Phirada is my hero for too many reasons! Amy is ridiculous & I'm hoping that she just goes away as her point is non-existent. I enjoy the mediocre sexual tension between the ML's but really the slow motion lead up to a frozen kiss is getting tiresome. They are adults not tweens.
I feel like Ze Shou knows. His facial expressions at the bar and at the school suggest that he knows Li Gong's…
Agreed...I think he knows Li Gong well & is trying not to rock the boat but still get away with just a little LOL. Looks like Li Gong may be at his breaking point though. I don't like to watch previews but I'm assuming that Ze Shou will be getting his ass kicked so maybe that will be enough to push Li Gong to say it out loud or act on it.
Just read thru comments. yeah, this is a pseudo-BL for fanpeople who want bunnies, rainbows, and sugar-plum fairies;…
Agreed...cute has its place. Not on my screen regularly but it does have a place. The older casts & story lines, away from school in general, are showing signs of promise though. Fingers crossed!
OK so unpopular opinion: It's cute. I'm glad we got to see how unlucky he is so that we have a perspective. But I'm done with the cute now. It's just about to border on cringe & I really don't want that to happen. We've got 20 minutes to make a good story.
Also, never will a v-neck sweater of any kind paired with a hoodie be a good look. They should stop this LOL
I think this show could be really sweet. I don't mind the occasional fluff show, especially because it's only 20 minutes, but I'm hoping it doesn't go too overboard with the silliness. I don't need deep characters to hold my attention but the story better be pretty decent to keep me coming back for the dry frozen BL kiss.
I really want to like this & I know it's really too early to form a solid opinion & it will probably not be met with much agreeance but...WTF am I missing? It's as if there is not enough budget to show other people in one shot? Like these people just "appear". And one minute they're in the restaurant with spicy udon & Han is getting water but Tommy is crying? About? And then they're outside? Are there transitions & I'm missing them? And do we not exchange names? And he doesn't have to pay rent? And where is this bedroom & whose is it in that extra scene during credits? I'm so confused!
