I think it's better to choose a written speech. Even if it would be easier to observe that person's attitude in a video.

I don't know if my teacher would be open minded to a korean drama/ movie. Plus, I would need Romanian subs.
If I choose a movie, the scene needs to last between 4-10 minutes.
I don't need to do a comparison.
I have to follow a certain plan made by the teacher.

I have a homework for a stupid class: I need to choose a speech and analyze it: the words, the attitude, symbols, signs, persuasion techniques, things like the transmitter, receiver, message, code, channel, situation. If it's formal or not.

I thought of Cicero too and Hitler.

It can be from opinion pieces, essays, excerpts from works of fiction. It can be also a scene from a movie, but I can think only of one: Find me guilty and I don't know for sure if it has a speech.

I found out this week I will have a seminar on Saturday too. At the middle of the day, of course, because that's the dream of our lifes, to waste an entire day for seminar that lasts 2 hours, then to run to the train, make other 2 hours and so on.


I was wondering, do you know any books with interesting speeches, preferably political ones? Except Karamazov Brothers.

I only do that when I watch completed dramas. Because I know that the ending is there, waiting for me to watch it. :D I tend to be really curious.

Sakai Masato is great in Ooku: Arikoto Iemitsu Hen too. Don't miss it. ^^
Legal high has also a special episode. It aired with just a few months before Legal high 2 started. I think it should be considered the real sequel.

Legal high 2 has new characters. Annoying ones. And Komikado Kensuke (played by Sakai Masato) isn't the same man anymore. I don't think that someone can say that it is as good as the first season.

When I watch completed dramas I tend to skip scenes to get faster at the ending. lol
