For me this was one of the best episodes. I do not see it as a filler. It had great tension build and the lines are just so well written. It is the only historical drama in which I do not skip parts (usually I follow the main leads and the plot kinda bores me).
This show however, looks like a painting in any scene it shows. Lines are straight out of a book and look like a very well detailed play. Not to mention costumes, vibe and emotion displayed.
Ya'll ready for the painful ending? I did not read the story this is based on, I did hear it's rather sad, but I have grown to enjoy acting far more than the stories (of course, they have to be good to make me watch, but a happy ending for my fave characters does not define it anymore as good or bad) . So, regardless of the ending, I enjoy seeing what the actors can offer in each show I decide to watch.
HOW did I reach this bliss? Well, f***ing START UP :)) I recommend each kdrama fan to watch that one in order to reach despair, shake it off.
Gonna tag it as spoiler in case someone's hopes get ruined by searching for the story this is based on. Maybe they did not know this detail.
Ending felt rushed they could have done better job with that, but I enjoyed every weeks episodes so I still gave…
Felt the same. But given that it didn't ruin the rest and the fact that there will not be a season 2, they were fair and respectful to their fans. I am really happy with it. Gave it a 10/10 as well even if the ending itself didn't feel like a 10, all the rest did :D
Ok so, before I could see the episode, I came here, obviously read some comments, saw some happy ending enthusiasts ... some of them gave me hope saying the ending of ep 11 and the preview show promising happy ending. FU guys : ))) I just saw it and saw no hope in it :)) There is a place for people like you. It is in that building. : ))))
Seriously now, I was so happy I screamed o the rooftop scene with Andrew. I felt happier than when they killed Joffrey in Game of thrones. I did not care Yi Hyun was infected and that he gave in, I seriously feel like the actor had so much fun playing that scene. If I were him I wouln't have accepted the role just to be a god damn hero. NO. Be one. BITE EM =))))
That scene where she tries to push him, but can't, and insted she is herself pushed back a few steps, making him go "oho.." .. had me laughing so hard.. I thought it would be my favorite scene.
But then I go to the "do you not value your life?" scene.. .Scenes are so well thought and they are funny and surprising. I am laughing like an idiot.
Just came here to say I am listening to Isaac Hong's song from the OST on repeat since it was released, and nothing expresses how we feel about the pandemic better than this.. "i just want everything to stop" and "i don't want a change in my life".. yeah I feel the man 🤣

For me, it is phenomenal.

-Do I get to bite 'em?
-No. You are the hero. You protect and....
-Just one. One.
-No.
-C'omon. A little.
-Ok. But a bad guy and only once.
-DEAL!!

Just don't kill him.
When talking: looks like Lee Je Hoon
When smiling: looks like Park Seo Joon
When sexy eyeing: looks like Lee Jong Suk
I swear to gawd I see them all in some gestures/way of acting/talking etc :))
That just might be the ultimate level for a kdrama fan 🤣
