Sending you virtual hugs🤗 I just recently subscribed to Viki and noticed that the two series of this type I liked the most there - TMS and Trapped - are available for free. Which is great for us, viewers, but I started to worry if they are commercially viable (i.e is there any market forces to make more of them) in comparison to the more mainstream BL?

After watching the series (once) and the movie (twice), I haven't noticed any significant difference. But, as for me, watching the series one could better feel the folks who had to wait for another week and another week when the series was on the air.

I'd mention Advance Bravely (censored, but love is real); To My Star (a shorter, lighthearted story). Manner of Death is obviously the closest one in terms of its plotline, but I guess for me the main leads not being an established onscreen partnership gives more goosebumps.

Not sure about the same vibes🤔 Trapped has a lead character who's so committed to law enforcement that choses law over his love interest (unthinkable!) The new Thai gangster series probably wouldn't bring up such deep moral and civic conflicts (not likely that many are interested in those anyway).

To My Star is amazing, fits perfectly a BL for and about grown ups category.

Yes and no. For me the ending was rather good, it wasn't inconclusive regarding their love for each other.

YEP! But probably it's challenging to come up with a follow-up script of the same intensity and quality🤔

I also interested, was touched by his acting. From Wikipedia: "He Long as Detective Shih Ta-pao, leader of the third investigation platoon." But I failed to google in English his other roles😢

Just curious about the two main police officers eating habits - why they are so hunched over their meals? Is it intended to characterize them as foodies/just comical/not having refined manners?🤔 Because as for my cultural background it could be interpreted as either someone has had an exhausting day or one is ashamed of themselves. Apparently these are not the case😄

Not an unhappy one for sure, probably bittersweet is the right word.

I didn't find him likeable at first. But... I guess his character is just written this way - a bit immature, impulsive indeed. Grew to like and appreciate him much more after rewatching for 3rd-4th time maybe😄 I'd say he acts very well and dedicated to the imperfect character he is given.
