Okay excuse me that was perfect. Hwang Da Seul ate that up and left no crumbs. I remember being so afraid of this drama coming out but because she is the director I knew from the bottom of my heart that it was gonna turn out amazingly and she gave just that. The cast did amazing. This drama wouldn't be what it is without them. I really do believe that. That ending was sooooooo satisfying. To me, every conversation I needed them to have was approached. I have no complaints. I've never been so happy about an ending before. So stunningly done. Man, im so impressed. I don't even know what to say anymore. Im sad its over but I feel like I can live my life in peace now. Well done to everyone who was involved in this project. They did fucking great. I hope to see the cast in many more project. And as for Hwang Da Seul, she is now my infinite love. I realllllllllllyyyyyyy hope she directs so much more and I will be here to watch EVERYTHING she directs. One of the best dramas in the entire industry, dont fight me cause you know its true
Okay umm.. I actually quite enjoyed that. The actors chemistry with each other was truly something to adore and I hope I get to see them in something else together again. The storyline is simple and I really do think they did a great job with the way they played it out. A lot of the time I couldn't help but think it was pretty and the quality and production of it was good.
The only downside to this for me was the ending. The overall ending was cute but completely rushed out. I should probably be used to that by now but if there is anything I hate, its a rushed out ending. Anyway I'm glad I gave it a chance despite the comments on this page. It was cute.
!!!!!!Proceed with caution, don't take me too seriously, i'm only joking(kinda)!!!!!!!!!!
Not gay enough. I'm kidding but let me put my honesty out there a bit. I've has this drama on my list for quite a while and when I finally got around to watching it I came across the ground breaking information(over exaggeration) that Soo-hyun is queer in the webtoon and actually ends up dating Yeo-joon's brother. I wish I could say this didnt change the way I felt about the drama but I am a very gay person(and enjoy my queer content any chance I can get ) so I would have been better off not finding this out and would have probably enjoyed the drama more if I had gone my life thinking this was very straight from the beginning- the whole thing left me feeling a bit distressed(joke). Whenever it seemed that Soo-hyun would partake in heterosexual activities I would say quietly to myself "have you so easily forgotten that you are a homosexual?"(joke).Even though Soo-hyun doesn't end up with either of his potential female partners in the drama, the ladies were both so cute and I really liked them so I couldn't help but think that if I have to watch Soo-hyun pretend his not gay, at least its with one of them *sobs*. Whenever someone mentioned Yeo-joon's brother near Soo-hyun I would cry a little to myself thinking about how awesome this all would have been if I could have just got a bit of more gay in this drama. (don't fight me, I am a women of peace)
Putting my queer emotional prejudice aside this was a pretty good drama. The best gift I think it has to offer are its characters. Lord knows I rarely ever like most of the characters in dramas I watch but this drama was just filled with a bunch of lovable characters. The drama attempts to bring hope and comfort to hurting youth by presenting diverse characters each with very different lives , in a way that you'll be able to relate to at least one of the characters, even if just a bit. That is how I saw it. Their journey together to find a sort of peace they have a all been searching for perhaps their whole life is something that was truly enjoyable to watch. The one fallout of this drama for me was the romance between So-bin and Yeo- joon. It could have been better developed I think and Yeo-joon came of kinda selfish sometimes. I didn't really feel much about their relationship in a way that was memorable but nonetheless they wanted the best for each other and brought a support they both needed. Soo-hyun and Yeo-joon's friendship(or so they say it was) was probably my favourite. They were a change in each other's lives that they both needed to better themselves and I'm grateful they found each other. Its a good watch.
unfortunately, the webtoon don't have any english translation but you can read the webtoon in korean here https://webtoon.kakao.com/content/멀리서-보면-푸른-봄/1089The…
can i ask how prominent is sobin and joon's relationship in the webtoon?
