I understand people saying that it doesn't have the same feel as the show; it really doesn't. It's really cute in it's own way and it did well showing how Kurosawa and Adachi will navigate their future together. I think the pacing was off a little between the first part and the second. Also, at points it was a little awkward. It didn't need a kiss scene or anything serious, but I think that maybe a hug or two in the beginning would've helped convey some emotions. In the end, it was a cute and satisfying ending to their story.
The ending was rushed, honestly. I think if the kidnapping happened in ep12 - beginning of ep13 it would've left a lot more room to explore and properly deal with Sky's trauma and the aftermath of everything. Having it all dealt with in a single conversation wasn't that satisfying and it kinda seemed that it was just brushed to the side.
I'm so excited for a TayNew comeback! Please don't disappoint with Cherry Magic 😭
