Maybe. I know that The Boys were on Road to Kingdom because they weren't popular enough to be on Kingdom (hence why RtK occured to give a less-known group a chance to compete) so popularity is one aspect.

Not a problem! I know they also asked Monsta X if they wanted to participate, but they declined. So, I'm thinking part of the criteria was the groups to be at least moderately known among the public.
Does anyone know if Stray Kids will continue to participate in Kingdom? Because of the scandal around Hyunjin…
Little late replying, but Stray Kids will be taking part as 7 members for the time being. There hasn't been a lot said if Hyunjin will be joining later, but there is a possibility for him to join filming at a later date depending on everything.
I have a question - I know how THE BOYZ got to KINGDOM. How did they pick the other groups? Was there a contest…
No, there wasn't a contest for the other groups. Mnet just asked them if they were interested to take part in Kingdom. I'm not 100% sure of the criteria they used to choose groups, though.
Okay, but I'm really worried about Tian's health. He's eating spicy food, drinking alcohol, walking up cliffs, and now he's out of medication. I KNOW something bad is going to happen... I can sense the foreshadowing during the episode. Tian said " I hope I can make it till the end of the year." WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT SIR?!?
When was it revealed to the chief that Tan and Bun were alive? I thought he was under the impression that they were dead. I don't remember him being told that they were still alive
I'm guessing that Oat is lying to the police about Inspector M's condition. I think maybe he's better then what he's telling them. I'm also guessing that wasn't the real SD card that was broken. I was already sus of Gun for a while because he was too much in the background to be doing nothing. The judge was a bit more surprising; but at the very beginning of the episode where he was shown at the table with Jane and the rest of them, I knew he was apart of it. Rungtiwa is 100% playing a larger part than what has been said so far. Maybe she's helping the VIP's to get the girls or the drugs? Sidenote: Nam bounced back pretty quickly from everything that she went through. Like one moment she was unconscious and the next she's running around the hospital.
Update! Due to lack of funds and sponsorships, My Ride has been put on hold. It will depend on the finance department if this series will continue. If it does, there is a possibility that there will be a change in cast and crew. Source: https://twitter.com/BLUPDATE2020/status/1358466063684431873

I need a S2 with all of them (especially M and Oat).
