In these two years I have visited this MDL page millions of time just to see if there's any update on the airing date and there has been 2 or 3 times when I along with the OoL nation have been disappointed but believe me when I say this drama has definitely been worth the wait. When the airing date was announced recently, I was completely shocked...I literally wanted to scream out loud, cry and laugh, I mean the feeling was so intense! I think what you said is definitely right but for Gu Wei that's not what he needed...you know for him all these support and all are things that he commonly gets from his colleagues too but Lin Zhixiao is always someone different for him who makes him realize and feel differently than others so maybe just maybe that's what the drama wanted to say
