HONESTLY WHOLEHEARTEDLY ME TOO i was fully expecting and wanting xbrothers to win but i don't know why i wasn't expecting 0713, they're under mangotv anyways. i was also expecting top to win partly because of mango's bias but i guess they still stick to what they originally bias. such a pityyy. andd ME TOO i also prefer season 4 so muchhh just overall, the stages, friendships and stuff and i even dare say the layout of the rules and stuff

OMG i wholeheartedly agree as well! this grouping format is like kind of stupid as it will lead to a lot of biasing. although the previous years had groups like into1 and 0713, the format let the fans of these groups explore other people and artists and like them a lot more, like gao qingchen fans liking cai cai and liang ge afterwards, jeff fans being more inclined to like danke and e.so a lot more etc. but this format just ruins all that because they've been grouped up from the start and will continue to be biased for the rest of the show

to be honest this one kind of makes sense, this round is essentially a 'hong pai' round, which means they could use their own song to fight. in s3, chusheng fought with si nian etc. (his own song) and ma boqian did bonnie and clyde+do my thing (which are both his songs). s4 had man man deng for wei li'an. considering this is kinda like hong pai, where an elimination is decided from it, i feel like they can choose their own song. just not for the x-songs and the main stages themselves, so this is fair in my opinion
