After hearing that, Dudu said that made sense now because she wanted WenXiao to be the one to die and ZhuYan to lived (she’s human so her chances of coming back was closed to zero while he’s a demon so his chance was higher). If I find the clip of them talking about it during the event, I’ll post it (unless it’s somewhere in topic discussion already).
