I’ve always liked her since Till the End of the Moon. I was so excited for her lead role in Fangs of Fortune but the writers/directors threw her script and did her dirty. So now I’m happy The Glory writers/directors pulled through. 🤣 She’s one of the few actresses who takes on all kinds of roles, be it support, guest, villainess or main lead; and I love that about her.

The tension is there but the two are too busy to confess and go the romance and love route. 🤣 Both have their own goals/missions. I am fine with the small, simple time they spend together without scheming or planning.

Apparently HanYan was ready to end it all even if it means she’s put to death after what happened to the Noble Consort. She wrote a divorced letter than try to set off to end her father once and for all. But YunXi stops her, burns the letter and she stabs him. 😭

Most think a HE is where the lead couple is alive and together. But to me it’s not a HE if there are so many sacrifices on the way to their HE.

Most cdramas are ctrauma lately so always expect bad ending. 🤣

I’ve seen people saying in the comments that the novel is a HE for them from way before the drama was released. But now the drama isn’t even the same as the novel so I think we are getting a ctrauma ending. So much ctrauma lately that I go into a cdrama expecting it.
