I never knew that of India and African countries but I knew of arrange marriages there. It shows how cruel we human beings truly are. I love and hate USA but I am lucky to be borned there because bridenapping is a big no along with underage marriages. Seeing arranged and forced marriages in cdramas angers me but eventually I let go because it’s just a show and not reality.

Technically the two talked about it before YiChen stabbed ZhuYan but they just didn’t show it. 🤣 The two never really tried to sacrificed each other for WenXiao. They always had their own plans they want to attempt from what I’ve seen even if it cost their life but not once did they tried to off the other for her. It was more like offing themselves instead, especially for ZhuYan. He won’t hesitate for her. 😅

As an Asian borned in USA, I’ve noticed it’s still pretty common telling the women to keep enduring her marriage even if it’s falling apart and the men is in the wrong. I’ve seen it many times when cousins come seeking help from my father and it’s the same crap over and over. Endure. The women is always at fault no matter what. Hopefully one day the elders will stop with their ways and we younger generations can step up. I don’t think it’ll ever go away in any Asian dramas though since many viewers actually like it for some reason.

Ye, she’s weak but got her own strengths to help the team. Still loved how she hold on her own against LiLun knowing full well he can squashed her with just one finger. 🤣 I’m still bitter how she was pushed into the background and her script became dumb when she was so cool in episode one. It’s even sadder that support and guest roles got a better storyline than her. Heck, a tiny bit of her story was even in psycho doc’s story, he got more story plot than her. 🤣😭
From those who prefer the romance (me lol) you can tell that’s how much they loved her. In their darkest times she was the light that helped pulled them out. It’s kinda like how hero mls will pick the world over fls or how villain mls would pick the fls over the world. They are picking her over themselves if it means she can lived on. During iQiYi Scream Night, Neo even said ZhuYan rather sacrificed himself since he can come back in spirit form to accompany WenXiao in the Wilderness since he’s a demon and might have the possibility of reincarnation. Dudu said that made sense to her now since she did wanted WenXiao to be the one to die instead.
I missed them and the whole team. ❤️ I hope one day the two reunite in another drama with more scenes together…
