The flying in cdramas never makes sense! Like you said they can fly about and up but never down. They’ll fall down dramatically in slow-mo too. 🤣

With how secretive they are about filming, this better be a top tier drama and not some cliche cdramas we always get. Not the same trope and same plot with just a different setting and actors/actresses. 😒

Ml is poisoned ages ago, it’s how his wife (fl’s half sister) died. So he’s been battling the poison even as he met fl. At the end they said the poison is dormant. When they finally defeated the real villain it shows them happily setting fireworks with his family (her new family since she married him). But then it shows all her beloved ded ones coming to celebrated too so she’s imaging it. It zooms to them and you see fl standing with all the ones still alive and ml is standing on the other side of all the ded ones. 😭 So viewers have different views on that. Some say he’s already ded and she’s just seeing him since he’s one of her beloved that’s why he’s standing on the side of the ded. Some say it’s nothing and he’s alive since he was setting the fireworks off. And then some say he’s alive but it’s a foreshadowing that eventually in some years he’ll die due to the poison acting up again; so it’s just showing when he’s gone she will at least have his family left so she won’t be alone and when he goes he’ll have her ded love ones waiting for him so he won’t be alone too.

It’s actually a HE in the novel. He was never married to her half sister, never had a kid either. In fact, in the novel fl is pregnant with his child. Don’t get why they changed so much of the story for the drama. 🫤

I guess one more to suffer with us is fine. 🤣

WX looked so cool in episode one then it went downhill. GJM lied to her about making her a female lead, legit just used her and her fans; and gave her a shit script.

Many knew her from Till the End of the Moon as a villainess. 😆 But I loved her there, she did spectacular and was a villainess cuz of her surroundings. Fangs of Fortune is a masterpiece too but if you watch you can tell the director gave her and male lead shit scripts so don’t be surprised if you find her character useless lol

Never go off MDL ratings. MDL is just full of either hardcore fans or anti-fans. China doesn’t even care about MDL, they go off Douban and Weibo. I know on Weibo it’s currently 8.9, not sure about Douban.
