Then either he desperately tries searching for her finally realizing he loves her or like she encounters near death and he saves her, I was like salivating at the thought and it didn’t happen 😾

What really? There is a clear enemy Mu Qi Bai, various attempts to like kill him or whatver. But what’s really surprising as hell is finding how weak this enemy is like he’s just a servant to a higher up and we don’t get to the see the higher ups power..oh I see what you’re saying now. But there is still an enemy he is just weak lol not much plot

For me personally I just see it as her being cute, although some of her facial expressions are questionable lol. Now watching it in the beginning was good, there felt some rush and it threw me off then it turned bored 😭 I thought it was about to become a show collecting dust on my ‘continue watching’ on Netflix. But the new episode really redeemed itself! I like it ^^

Honestly I can’t remember second leads getting that much plot line unlike they some sort of villain. But I think this scenario helps me see why he could like the female lead a bit..or not idk
