Ty! I’m on epi 14 and it is well done. The FL is great and won a great role here. This show was ban after airing in China I don’t look to these dramas for history. I am a bit sensitive on the repeat of teen sex slaves sold to emperors, etc but I get it. Just because I’ve seen 100 of them someone new may not have so it’s important their dark past is revealed. When they glorify it or make it seem fine it’s upsetting since it wasn’t. They make these not just for China but for the ifan hence why it’s allowed to be on other platforms. I love cdramas they have imo the best actors, costumes, etc TY for the info. I’m just hoping GAO dies soon lol

Ty! I started it but if you will please, the reviews say there is little love for most of the show. More of a job partnership. During this time does the show show him sleeping with other concubines? Do they show other children being born? During that time was the FL in love with him? I don’t care for the “historical” part there are thousands of shows some propaganda more than others. It’s never really needed and I don’t like to partake. I love the fantasy cdramas most but really am in the mood for a story but without the slave aspect too much. Ty

I didn’t want to watch such a long drama. I’m easy to quit there are too many out there. I have been watching non stop for days lol. I have only skipped scenes of certain couples or drag which didn’t start until the 40’s episodes. Everyone has their opinion but the chemistry is there with the leads. More so is their love and trust it’s awesomely written.

Probably not. I too worry for the child actors. I won’t watch the film. Imagine just last year the largest child porn abuse/murder case in world history on cyber videos and the courts gave the guy 18 months Then last month SK finally strengthened the laws but far far behind most developed countries. I’m sorry for the ML but I just can not. I respectfully request that actors are paired with voice actors as a team and split the fee. This dubbing cdrama does isn’t consistent and just doesn’t work.
