Since her husband is alive I hope his father dies, she is freed and she and the guard have a happy ending. I never trust kdramas to give me the wishful ending but this has been a lot of fun and I feel will end well. Fingers crossed!

Her brother is not related? The subs keep saying "his mother" and another sub referenced she has another brother.
Is ML poor/ not from a wealthy family?
Is the FL well funded by family?

Can you please explain your pov on the ending? Was the ML in his own game that he wrote to help him decide to die or not OR was the "friend" the one that rewrote the game after the ML was in it, took over the virtual reality to help his depressed friend after reading his suicide note or sad diary?

In the end, did the real ML survive and live with his new friends (I don't see that) or did his "friend" hopefully figure out a way to help depressed & suicidal people use the VR to find a path to have a will to live?

I have no idea how many ways there is to slice this

Honestly y'all if my life depended on it I would have NEVER EVER recognized him as the same male lead in The Lover! He has changed so much, as we all have growing up, but still WOW. It is SO great to see him again. I loved him in Flowers in the Sand. Seriously though Lee Jae Joon!!! WOW

Lee Jae Joon (Jin) was a former ballet dancer? WOW I LOVE his smile in the sand. I cried!!!!!
I CAN NOT believe he is the same LJJ that was in The Lover! One of my first and fav BL's. I have wondered where he was. He looks completely different like 100% different so I need to research this to make sure it is the same guy. Night and day from how he looked in The Lover to now. WOW

I have loved this ML for so long. I have been so proud of his career moves. We have learned a lot more about him as a man recently, his faith, his plans and dedication. I wish him all the good fortune he seeks. He is a special talent and I am glad I am around for it.

I will miss this series. The dedication of the actors in preparation and throughout the shooting. Amazing all around.

I think she is dead too. I paused as of epi 9 for a while but if y'all are saying the FL is going over drive for the author and he is showing signs of wanting to unalive himself, maybe that is why she is reacting that way. Maybe her friend did that and FL feels the need to try to save someone 🤔
