I paused on this drama due to the ex hub and bff partner clearly on their way to something. Whatever the lesson is here that the drama was approved to teach us does not sit well. They are taking a female centric (2 women and one man in a successful business) and tearing down a female. None of this need to be written unless their intention is to choke down our throats that men who cheat as redeemable . If so this isn't it because he supposedly loved her but didn't respect her. That's a bad trait and will not be removed. Ugh. I wanted to watch this but the propaganda is too much

Assuming the writing is smart (big LOL) then the body and ring were buried there on purpose to be found to ruin the mom. So maybe someone wants her out of politics or something over her. Or maybe the cop used it as a back up in case she stopped helping his daughter. The ceo doesn't seem like a killer but a desperate talentless man so he may have found out one of his trainees involved too and used the mom to take care of the body and save both her her son and the trainee? Finished epi 12. Ex GF dad is a raging POS! The other dude at the club too. Could be the dad or other dude bribed the mom, said they saw her son kill the girl and fleeced her for cash. She used the police chief to make the bribery end and take care of his daughter
