I still somehow understand the plot and what’s happening but I also understand that the plot can be very hard and confusing to some people. Episode 4 totally fried my brain but it’s still a lot of fun. I enjoyed watching the relationships in the second half. Personally: Ep4>Ep2>Ep3>Ep1
So Sae Ha’s goal: find Ghost. The question is what he plans to do after finding Ghost: get answers from her or get revenge/kill her for killing his dad. It doesn’t seem like he wants to go back in time to save his dad, anyway I doubt Ghost will let him because Ghost apparently killed his dad “for a reason”.
Detective Jung’s goal: to catch the convenience store killer. She’s also looking for the “woman” who helped the killer escape - in hopes of finding the killer faster. Her side goal: after her strange encounter with Ghost she starts becoming curious about her as well.
Sae Ha and Detective Jung team up to find Ghost.
Deputy Director’s goal: looking for Ghost. Why? We don’t know yet. It looks like she has met Ghost before. Her muttering “She’s right.” in the first episode implies Ghost has talked to her about the future (regarding the grid?) so theory is Deputy Director wants to find Ghost to ask her about time traveling (maybe she’s the one who wants to time travel).
So I think the main goal of this show is to find out Ghost’s grand plan or purpose. There are people looking for her wanting to know about her deeds, existence, and ability. Why is she doing all this? It helped that Detective Jung asked a lot of questions the viewers are also curious about so I’m hopeful all her questions will be answered in future episodes.
The development is slow, but it’s still fun...? The pacing is similar to Stranger 1. First half of episode 3 was so nerve-racking sheeesh. I will never stop complaining why this show has to be only one episode per week.
1. Why did they suddenly drop out of nowhere that the female police detective used to work in the Admin Bureau?…
I don’t know. It didn’t bother me when I watched it. Even if I didn’t know about the fact that they were divorced my thoughts would only go, “Huh do they know each other? Were they ex-lovers?” and just let the story flow. I trust and love LSY’s writing style so I’m just enjoying the story as it goes because personally the story isn’t so confusing to me.

FL never worked at the Bureau. Also, the actress mentioned this at the press conference so technically it’s not a spoiler, Detective Jung and Mr. Song are actually a divorced couple (knowing this their interaction at the car chase scene became more fun to watch lol).
Episode 2 was a lot more fun than episode 1. Either there’s gonna be a mild romance here or I’m just lovin’ the main leads’ chemistry already. Can’t wait for them to interact agin.
Saw an article that said Grid entered the top 20 in the global ranking of Disney+ for TV even with just one episode. I hate Disney+ for many reasons but I really hope Grid continues to do well. I need some hyped up sci-fi thriller drama to talk about and not just romance please!
I was so focused that I didn’t realize it already ended. Please I hope the next episodes aren’t as short as…
Didn’t think Seo Kang Joon’s character reading lips would be so hot 😳 Did anyone else notice he muted the TV so he could practice reading lips? I wonder what he’ll use it for in the future.
I was so focused that I didn’t realize it already ended. Please I hope the next episodes aren’t as short as the first episode. The story is new and actually pretty interesting! The music was good too. So far I’m liking all the characters.
