They've got too much history that's convoluted. It's one thing to have just grown up in the same neighborhood, like Pao and Khana for example. But, Tin started living with Park because Park's family felt guilty over Tin's Dad's death which was an accident. Park himself hasn't gotten over that guilt. So, trying to unravel how Park feels about Tin... is it really just brotherly love? It seems like more at times. Unless Park makes a HUGE effort to do figure it out, it may too much to ask of him. I think jealousy over Phloen is not even enough to push him. He would probably do it if he were close to losing Tin, maybe a life or death situation?? Although, I really don't want that - too much angst.

I definitely feel it's more of a coming of age rather than a simple RomCom. Those who were looking for a fun RomCom have been sadly disappointed, hence the low rating. A lot of times, it's about expectations. Because it doesn't meet what people expect of a typical, fluffy BL, people drop it and/or rate it low. If one were to change the lens through which one is watching it as a coming of age Drama, in which some characters are LGBTQ+, it changes one's perspective.

Personally, the 40-min. episodes fly by for me, and I'm fully invested in the characters' lives. They are complex individuals with complicated parent relationships. Like each of us, they present a different "face" to the world. Park is the confident nurse at work, mediator of the neighborhood, caretaker of Tin. And I wonder, when does he get to be just himself? Tin is finding himself at school as he navigates friendships & school degree choices. He expresses his love for Park in the clearest way he knows how but gets rebuffed each time. Is it love, or just the feeling of safety he's found with Park?

I hope more people appreciate the writing and watch the show. It's definitely different from the usual BL fare.

I think Park is just really conflicted about his own feelings and that Phloen's involvement will make it clearer to him, but yes, it will likely mean Phloen will get hurt in the process. But Tin may also get tired of pursuing Park and date Phloen, if Park is so conflicted and just wants to stay brothers. I mean, that would make more sense. And Phloen is such a cutie-pie.

Ep 5 has Pao and Khana and they're made progress.

At least the side couple got some action in today's episode.

I was a bit surprised that Tin said his heartbeat was so fast in reaction to Phloen's pursuing him -- so was that just "wow, I'm excited someone cute is interested" or "I like him too" -- inquiring minds want to know.
Park has been in denial (I think he likes Tin), and I'm bummed that he needs jealousy to get his ass moving. This might get angsty.

OMG, I had only seen Jang Nara in Fated to Love You and this is such a different character. Pretty shocking to my system. LOL. I can't wait to see this.

Except for calling each other boyfriends, I thought Uea had been very accommodating. Checking in with King when he gets home, agreeing to go on this trip (that got cancelled), doing couple stuff like meals out - things that dating couples do that Uea was OK with under their FWB umbrella.

Which is why after the arranged match fiasco, Uea made that distinction, "You don't have to do that. We're bed friends." Uea totally dialed back. I'm not disagreeing that Uea is a difficult person to love, but he and King were getting somewhere. The thing I don't agree with was that King was getting nothing emotionally from Uea. Maybe less than King would've liked, but not nothing. Aaah. I'm just so frustrated that King gave Uea such a huge reason to step back/step away since I really think they would be good for each other. I already felt that King liked Uea from the first day they met, from just the way he looked at him and they way he's been trying to get this attention. From the way Uea looked, I think he was pretty devastated King went ahead with the arranged match, not jealous, just devastated because I think Uea keeps testing King and King failed a big test. I'm not even sure I'm making sense so I'll end here.

King screwed up. If he's really serious about Uea, he wouldn't have gone to that arranged match. I felt like Uea was so close to trusting in King, that he wouldn't cheat on him and that he would stay.

I was shocked at the preview. I thought, for sure, that Uea would never go to his Mom's place again since she's such a great candidate for Mom of the Year 🙃. Krit is creepy! Ugh.
