maybe when the accepted the role, the plot provided was promising. Cause initially i really thought the plot was good. Just referencing from the teaser. But indeed the script was a mess.
I never expected to like this drama. I thought its a jdrama. Surprised that it isnt. I thought it wuldnt meet my expectation. The main lead surprised me. And i am enjoying it so far.
Ive seen him in a lot of dramas i cant recall which. But i knw in all of thise drama he did well bec i recall who he is. I watched sweet munchies and he did so well. His subtle actions, like smile, smirk are so good. At the same time the depth. His pain. I was rooting for him more than the female lead. Ive been wishing its a BL drama instead. He deserves more roles where he can shine.
I love segeuk dramas. My fave is Six Flying Dragons. So seeing as it's the same timeline I can help but compare the two. Sori but I had high expectations bec of the ratings but it failed to match my expectations. It didn't excite me as much. And in terms of acting Woo Do Hwan and Hang Hyuk only met my expectations in terms of the leads. Dont get me wrong I like Yang Se Jong and the other actors. But I don't think Sejong fits as d son of the best swordman or an excellent swordsman. His skills are not yet there. I'm not sure if he fits in action dramas. He is lacking in energy I feel. That's why the main couple doesnt do me anything. It's just sad.

the kid is in the PH public school. boarding school? d kid is only hs not college it looks like. and theres no such thing as public hs boarding school in the philippines plus she only showed concern first part of the ep. but latter part there was no call, email. living in a foreign country is difficult. a call or txt or email consume so much time in d drama. the writer or director should have at least added a scene like that latter part of the drama to make the character of the mom seemed like she didnt forget abt the daughter.
And also the coach doesnt feel like a coach.
