I got the impression that he gave a part of the money only, coz when he went home to ask for money he was refused...so shows he didn't have the total money to help her.

It isn't a love triangle so far. Three guys like her but she isn't playing them. There is more friendship and banter amongst all the characters so far which is enjoyable. No angst at this point.

Sweet drama. Tho it was a bit slow in the middle, but worth watching. Its a warm drama. The dialogues and banter were good fun. No unnecessary angst or weirdness.

Just completed this today. She didn't get engaged to yuan shen. He only asks her a few times, and each time she says she cant give him what he wants. The empress informed LBY that she wasn't engaged and he said he knew.

Yes when han zheng was kidnapped, the marquis took some quantity of stone only saying that he would regenerate and then the marquis would take more. So it depends on how much they take,
