the world i live in, differently abled are treated poorly (mostly) - so for me this has been a nicer representation.
i came across the trailer of another series where they are twin brothers, 1 is molested and dies, and he is differently abled and expresses about santa being naughty and no one listens - that clip was very difficult - so when i compare some of the reels and real life i see, i found this representation to be kinder. Do i wish things were different, for most things in life i do so, but in reality, if you had to become the provider given her circumstances, i think overall the character has done very well as have her relationships with her niece, brother and friend. I am a lesser woman than this character - I wouldnt have the strength she does :)

And most men from what I hear prefer not to date single moms. Wouldn't this be more applicable in s.korea than say a usa?

You are right. This is believable. I don't agree with the clean image for the sake of ml/preserving her types! But it's possible.... again many cultures still consider s*x to be taboo ...and did she genuinely have the time or space?! I think it's closer to reality.

100% i think, if i remember correctly, the ML will again be blamed or some such.

Agree, for him, the sister is the ine from 17 years ago. He just finds her 1 photos in the 1st episode
