I think they have to remove the tag as gay relationship. As they dealing their profession is good but there is…
dude the gay relationship is already established in drama. Do you see every single romance drama needing to have explicit porn scenes to justify their gay/het relationship? No. So why would you insist the tag to be removed for this drama? The gay relationship was just one aspect of this drama.
By your logic, a lot of drama titles in this site need to have some of their tags removed for only being a minor aspect in the drama.
Was looking at the cast list, and wasn't one of the cast roles listed wrong? Moon Sunghyun should be playing teen MOON BAEK and not teen Lee Do. The child actor playing child Lee Do should be Gu Hyun.
LOL I had to agree, the initial plot sounded interesting at first but then, later on, they really tried too hard to convince us that the widow and lady was such a 'great match' that it end up so ridiculous. There are WAY too much unnecessary crying scenes that by now it gets really annoying. I mean, the FL was initially written as this wild girl that can fight anything but nowadays all she do was cry and cry just because she fell head over heels with some dude and lost whatever spunk she used to have. I also really hate how the writer exaggerates the few other 'crazy' characters just to make it seem that ML and FL weren't the worse people in the lot. I swear the only reason I was still somewhat aware of the current drama plot was because the rest of my family still follows the drama. And I thought Penthouse was ridiculous.
I guess heirs was frustrating for a lot of people. The FL always used to cry. Btw Thanks for reading! :)
Honestly, the only little saving grace of The heirs was the secondary leads and minor characters stories. I forgot how many times I wanna give up the show everytime Kim Tan appear on the main plot. And all the very bad timings of 'Love is the moment' just made it worse.
Lol omg. There's yet another person that find The Heirs frustrating! I swear every time I see people say that they liked the drama I'm questioning their taste in shows lol.
Seriously, only reason I watched the drama last time was because of Choi Jinhyuk and Kim Woobin's characters. If not because of them I probably wouldn't even watch the drama till the end.
Something doesn't have to be exactly similar in order for be said that it was similar. It's a story that involves…
Of course the acting and storytelling are different. I'm just saying that the initial setting (aka the setup with the serial killing and the fact it happened in a rural town, AS WELL as the existence of people trying to cover up the case) is similar. That's just the vibe I get.
I've seen Signal and Tunnel and no, they are not the same with Beyond Evil.
Something doesn't have to be exactly similar in order for be said that it was similar. It's a story that involves a serial murder case that spanned two decades remaining unsolved before slowly unraveling in the present. And it's also a story where it happened in a rural town. So yes at first glance this drama did have a similar vibe with the dramas mentioned. Just because there's no time traveling stuff in this drama doesn't mean it's not similar.
Some of the titles that are added here felt out of place lol because I wouldn't say that they were horribly written. Just that some may not have the expected ending or bitter-sweet/sad ends and those titles didn't deserve to be accused of being 'horribly written'.
That aside how dare no one included Possessed in this list so I fixed that XD.
Thank you for the article. When the news broke out about her death, I was devastated. The Strawberry Night series and Miss Sherlock had always been my favourite and I was looking forwards to see more of her in Miss Sherlock if possible. Sadly that may not come to be. May her soul be in peace wherever she is now.
Yeah, the whole 'real life is much scarier than the stories' tagline was quite misleading. In which I felt was the main reason why avid Ju-on fans would be so disappointed with the drama. Like you'd expect it to be scarier than usual, but it ended up not being so.
While the jumping from one story to another was quite a common narrative style in Ju-On movies, I felt that the drama's way of connecting all of the different plots was not done that well and made everything very confusing.
Oooooo that last one bugged me big time. Especially when in earlier scenes the couple were not shown to have any kinds of close bonding/special moments (just being present in the same place but NO interaction whatsoever don't count tho) but suddenly boom we're in love. Even worse if one of them originally was attracted to one half of the main leads but then later on Boom! the character gets super in love with a different person cos the character's not allowed to interfere with the main otp.
When I first heard about this Saga, seeing the summary and the cast, I assumed that maybe the new series would be a prequel of a sort. But now I see that it's a total remake, as the first case in the first episode was the first case that started the original Strawberry Night drama series that began with the 2010's TV Movie. Well, gonna reserve my judgement for now but I already disliked most of the main cast tbh.
While that may be due to the fact that I'm attached to the original casts of SN lead by Takeuchi Yuko, there's also the fact that I'm not really fond of the many changes Saga made of the team so far, which made it feel like the team was much less reliable than the Team Himekawa from the old series. We'll see how the new series will go for now though keeping up with the episodes gonna be a low priority for me.
i think this is when himekawa was young , before the strawberry night , because i think she was older in strawberry…
nope. The case that they were involved in ep 1 is the same Strawberry Night case from the 2010's TV Movie. But I can see now that they changed the setting as to having Kikuta just joined the team as they encountered this strawberry night case rather than he already being part of the team, as well as Hime's Ace.
