Both were lacking emotions and like you said, the lack of chemistry was noticeable. I liked how Tao acted when she fell ill but I still didn't like Takeru's acting. He looked lifeless and had this weird fake looking smile on his face most of the time..*sigh* The story alone is touching and inspiring but this movie poorly executed the story, in my opinion.

I agree! There were many scenes that were just off and most of the story was too far-fetched...but it was still very entertaining to watch all the crazy stuff happening lol xD

Since Ikuko-san failed to kill Tamura Yumi, she got arrested and Yumi and her husband remained together. That altered the future as well. Ikuko-san was supposed to be the one who introduces Yohei and Nakano Yumi, but since she was arrested, that doesn't happen. That's why they all don't know each other again in the future..

Nakano Yumi doesn't end up with Yohei or anyone.. After changing their fates, the two Yumis don't remember each other anymore. Since Tamura Yumi didn't die after all, she's still together with her husband and child in the present. And Yohei and Nakano Yumi don't remember each other as well.
