I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! I started out as a K drama lover but when I watched J dramas, I saw a big difference! J dramas are way more realistic and even have good morals than K dramas and they are even good at any genre, including romance.I don't have any problem when it comes to looks of the actors, I'd prefer the acting style not looks(I am not condemning, but one reason I hate to see K dramas/movies cause the actors have perfect, smooth, oily, plastic looking skin which is way too artificial!) I have to agree about the fact that K dramas have great cinematography unlike J dramas, but that hasn't bothered me.Just because the drama has great cinematography will not mean that the drama is great, the acting and the story line must be great. As for the final fact,J dramas do have idols but what about K dramas? they have idols as well as certain celebrities( Kim woo bin, Lee min ho,Shin hye,Kim so hyun,Lee jong suk etc) who are repeatedly seen.Well..actually it is not a problem to see idols in dramas as long as they act well but why is that only a problem to J dramas? It is sad to see that J dramas are underrated :( I know that I sound really biased! but since I have watched K dramas, I am able to give a honest opinion.
