In the 2nd life, A'Si revives and hatches the plan to expose the two lovers before they do the "lovers suicide".…
Yeah they really downplayed female lead. I stopped at half way into episode 2 because I didn't see ErNiu and Jiang si is supposed to use her gu poison to do some cool stuff right from the start but nope
i m with you my friend. i don't care if they change the contents as long as they don't f#ck it up. live actions…
Tbh, isn't making the characters use guns already f#cking it up.
None of these characters use guns from their introduction. Their constellation's lores aren't based on guns. How did YJH and LJH even get guns??? Did LJH shoot all her classmates with the gun?
Those are probably jisoo haters, i read the manhwa and im anyway excited for it
They aren't Jisoo haters. They just don't approve of her for the role of LJH. For one, she is to old to be playing a highschooler. For another, she doesn't match the character of LJH.
What are you talking about she seems like the most believable strong female in a drama so far. How many times…
Actually in Si Jin, the original Novel FML is very smart and do it yourself.
Her father and brother dote on her alot. She is also talented in poisons and uses it alot.
1. She exposes her fiance by herself and cancels the engagement (her bro and dad are like, YOU GO GIRL!) and they dgaf about the other family members. Dad even threatens to separate the family.
2. The 2nd case involving her cousin-in-law is also solved by her. She orchestrates everything to expose him as a serial grapist and killer. She never asked the male lead for help as she also hired a guy to be her body guard.
Watched 5mins of the first episode. Reminds me of The story of kunming palace and the Princess royal drama. I…
The issue is they changed the plot lmao.
1. Jiang Si misunderstands that Yu Qi doesn't love her in life 1. She thinks she is Saintess Asang's replacement.
2. She revives and exposes her fiance for cheating (goes to the place the lovers are meeting, they fall in water, she and her maid servant yell about a fire, people come and save the two, rumors start). Ji Chongyi is also not the heir. He is like the 2nd son.
2. Yu Qi is a simp for A Si. He didn't save her from drowning because of some Nanwu BS. He fell for her as a kid. Brother spends the entire like 40% of story flirting and trying to get her attention.
Is this in line with the novel? The story is there when I compare it to the manhua, but it feels totally different…
No it's vastly different. They kept the doting and funny brother and dad and the roughest out line but changed the general vibes and details.
1. A'Si revives after catching her fiance cheat, something that never happened in the original.
2. Yu Qi's mission is bs that never happened. This Yu Qi is also overly serious and not the Yu Qi we are familiar with who simps for A Si and has a general IDGAF if you aren't A Si vibe.
3. The "Yu Qi killed me" doesn't exist in the original. She stays away from Yu Qi because she thinks she is a replacemen, not because he killed her. Makes no sense why they added this.
In the 2nd life, A'Si revives and hatches the plan to expose the two lovers before they do the "lovers suicide".…
As Far as I remember, Cui Mingyue never targets Yu Qi.
Cui Mingyue was involved in A Si's brothers death. As well as involved in forcing A Si's sister's death and accusing her of having an affair. Cui Mingyue seduced her brother-in-law and in the end, married someone else.
In the 2nd timeline, her relationship with A Si's brother in law is exposed and her mother forces the empress dowager and king to marry her to one of Yu Qi's brother.
In the 2nd life, A'Si revives and hatches the plan to expose the two lovers before they do the "lovers suicide".…
What the heck is with this Nanwu plot line. π That doesn't exist at the beginning. Yu Qi also doesn't have anything to do with that nor is his initial interest in A Si related to them. He just fell in love with her from their childhood.
So I skimmed through episode 1 and it leaves me....confused? For what purpose did they change the male lead and…
In the 2nd life, A'Si revives and hatches the plan to expose the two lovers before they do the "lovers suicide". She takes revenge into her own hands! Why did they change that?
So I skimmed through episode 1 and it leaves me....confused? For what purpose did they change the male lead and female lead's meeting for.
This whole misunderstanding about him killing her was also not in the original Novel.
In the original Novel, A'Si is engaged to the 2nd son of a noble family. However, as she is a young maiden stuck in the buodoir and rarely ventures out, she doesn't know that her fiance has a commoner lover. The lover and fiance fell into the water and it creates a rumor that they are lovers forced to suicide because of their great love and A'Si becomes the evil woman who tried to separate the two. The commoner lover died from drowning while the fiance becomes weak and sick. A'Si naively marries him and he dies after 1 year. His family blame her for his death.
While mourning him, A'Si's cousin-in-law attempts to assault her and she runs away, scared for her life. (At this point in the timeline, her sister has been accused of infidelity, her brother died by drowning).
A'Si makes it all the way to the borders where she takes on the identity of Saintess A'Sang who passed away young. She learns the clan's Gu Poisons and meets Yu Qi. They fall in love, get married, and move back to the capital.
A'Si is naive and Yu Qi's brothers and their wives plot to tear the couple apart. They lie to A'Si that Yu Qi was in love with Saintess A' Sang and the two are childhood sweethearts. A'Si misunderstands and thinks Yu Qi used her as a replacement for A'Sang.
A'Si and Yu Qi in the first life end with A'Si dying because of his brothers, not Yu Qi and there is no misunderstanding. It is actually Yu Qi who does a ritual that takes A'Si back in time.
From the beginning, Yu Qi has loved A'Si. They met as kids and Yu Qi knew who A'Si was. Her and his first meeting was his intentions and he spends the entire novel pining for her and is never a tsundere about it.
1. The first half before Feng Yin dies is the more enjoyable half. ZLS and WAY show most of their chemistry here.
2. The second half lacks in romance and chemistry. They try to force that misunderstanding trope of Xianxia Romance and it did not work well. Maybe it is time we steer away and stop trying to copy Ten Miles sucess?
3. The Plot Line in the 2nd half is all over the place and feels as if written by some 17 year old wattpad story but its chinese. Qin Ling as the main villain in the first half disappears. Hua Mo and Hua Shu are taken care of so easily. Also they completely botched Hua Shu's character. Either make her completely bad or a good person. They just made her an annoying prick who kept crying about her dead lover. And kept saying Ah Yin is the murderer after it is already proven that Ah Yin was not. Hua Shu's character and script made 0 sense. The Ming Qi thing at the end leaves a person feeling confused. Why is this guy even here? Like what the heck was his purpose.
4. Costumes were beautiful.
5. From the very beginning until the end, I was confused on what is chaos gods, what is true gods, what is the devil god. Is it Qin Ling or Ming Qi? It all made zero sense to me. They say you don't need to watch Ancient Love Poetry to watch The Last Immortal but I certainly feel like you do. This drama just throws a bunch of names at you. Like who is Feng Chi???
6. Also don't call me a hater of TLI. I love Zhao Lusi and think she is a wonderful actress. Just think this was one of her weakest dramas due to hoe they butchered the plot. I don't like Xu Kai. I honestly think he has horrible acting and his face is not my type so I have never watched his new works. Anyways. Someone help explain who Feng Chi and Ming Qi and Qin Ling is lol. Also who is Xiuyan. Just alot of names and people showing up here and there.
I hope someone can do something different and give us a new plot line soon.

Or have they just kept silent throughout he entire thing and it is only the director speaking for the author?
