I've seen such an approach in various bl series. After the lady torments them they just end the series with hugs and excuses to justify their actions. Actions always have consequences.

The series was not bad. But I didn't like the manner in which they dealt with the perpetrator in the last three episodes. There is nothing positive about sympathizing with a perpetrator of criminal acts.
