Hmm... none of this interests me except Mother probably.. Karadayi (The Uncle in Black) would be my favorite Turkish Drama out of only 4 or 5 I've saw xD I regret not watching The Valley of the Wolves.
Zinda makers weren't sued because the studio that made Oldboy closed it's doors or that what I read on Wikipedia... anyway, I love Bollywood, it's one of my favorite cinemas in the world, despite how weird it can be, but regardless, it's always fun watching Bollywood, my favorite movie would be Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, I like it a lot, alongside:
3 Idiots, one of the best comedy movies ever made.
Black, If this isn't one of the greatest movies in history, I don't know what it is..
Houseful 1&2, I don't like the 3rd movie, it's meh..
My Name is Khan, SRK's best, HANDS DOWN.
Agneepath (2012)(The Path of Fire), man... what a movie..
Barfi!! This movie left me speechless.. most Ranbir Kapoor movies are really good as well, for those that like romcoms, you know where to look.
Cocktail, GOT to be one of the best romance movies I've seen and one of my favorites no doubt, as someone who desires to see a one guy, two girls love triangle, this movie satisfies me so much, it has it all, everything I want to see in such a triangle, for that and many other movies like it, I say thank you Bollywood. I've been DESPERATE to find a Kdrama with such a formula with no luck, if you know any(if even there is any) feel free to recommend it.
Also Anil Kapoor's classic Laadla (The Beloved Son) I like it a lot
Those are all my favorites till this date, some other good movies that I like but not part of my favorites are:
Entertainment
Singh is Kinng, Both are hilarious, Akshay Kumar is really good at comedy, much more than action
Ajnabee (Stranger)
Jodha Akbar, one of the best from Bollywood, no doubt.
Veer-Zaara, and like most SRK movies prior to 2013, he hasn't been doing good lately. I consider this one SRK's best romance film, though the majority would probably say Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (The Big-Hearted Will Take Away the Bride)but find Veer-Zaara better.
We Are Family, it's a remake of the American movie Stepmom, and it's much better.
Guzaarish (Petition)
Kahaani (Story) one of the very few Bollywood movies without songs and dancing sequences
Waqt (Time)
Gupt (Secret)
The Lunch Box, also has 0 songs and dancing sequences
Son of Sardaar, too much fun.
I recommend everything I mentioned of course xD
Not a fan of the Indian Drama, too long and too boring for me, but my mother can't get enough of them, she switched from the Turkish ones to the Indian ones. xD
I can't get into old Bollywood, early 2000, 90's and prior to it, except for some movies, it's not for me, I'm glad Bollywood did change, the modern day Bollywood is much better, even so tho, Apu trilogy is in the watchlist.
Ram-Leela was good.
Also another movie I liked a lot is Gunday (Outlaws) always up for good friendship movies.
Bollywood has a several problems tho, the biggest of them being is that they focus on the quantity more than the quality, I mean around a 1041 movies... seriously, that's a lot, if the Indians focused more on the quality and less on the quantity they would make much much better movies, considering they already make great movies even so, imagine what level Bollywood would reach if the quality mattered more.
Other problems are like copy/pasting scripts like Zinda/Oldboy for example..
Also songs and dancing sequences, they might be the mark of Bollywood and what makes it unique but for most of it they never fit in the movies, specially if it's a horror movie.... I mean songs and dancing sequences in horror movies, really.... but not all the times, sometimes the songs fits right in the heart of the film like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara for example, which makes it much better, I wish most of them where like that.
Bollywood is really good where it comes to Drama, Comedy and Romance.
Bollywood action is really something, too unrealistic, doesn't apply to the laws of physics, hilarious, fun to watch, the live action counterpart of anime xD
I Can't believe it took more than 2 whole hours writing this xD
How about making the second female leads actually good and having some real attention from the male leads instead of their love(make it real for once) being one sided all the way, hence, have the female leads gets jealous(and feels threatened to lose) for real for once, I would like to see that happen, for once at least....
