I feel like this show would've been much better if Han Ji-pyeong's story focused on his relationship with the Grandmother instead of Seo Dal-mi.

Season 2 isn't as funny but imo it has a better story and characters than season 1.

Unpopular opinion: Second season was better than the first!I actually liked the characters in the second season…
I agree, Season 1 was funnier but Season 2's story and romance was much better. The characters for me are much better as well.

Article Great Teacher Onizuka: 1998 v/s 2012
Honestly it's a hard pick, 1998 version had some characters who I prefered over the 2012 version including Onizuka and Noboru and a couple of others but a lot of them weren't really that good. While the 2012 version casted most of the students well but Onizuka wasn't potrayed as well as the 1998. Both of the stories where decent but I do prefer the 2012 story.
