I agree with most of what you're saying, actually. I've been on record of insisting that the character of Charlie…
I didn't read the novel, so I can't tell how each characters are to be like. But according to a lot of comments, I do see that Charlie is a bland character, which Pooh definitely portrayed that really well. As a new actor, of course, there are some points where he would be stiff in some circumstances. But other than that, I agree with what you said. All of these actors are wasted on this series. Hopefully, in their next projects, Pooh and the others would be able to work with better writers and directors. Pooh's expressions are actually not bad. His eyes show good emotions in them, but it's not enough. So he needs a better director and acting coach to guide his emotions the right way.
Pooh is not the best actor yet, but he's not the worst. If I have to point an actor who has more experience than him and still has criticisms over their acting would be one of the actors from GMMTV. He's the same age as Pooh, but been in the acting career since he was young, and he is one of the main characters, protagonist, I would say. He still gets criticisms more worst than Pooh because in the reviews, this series at least have a lot of 10 points for the acting section, but for that series that person played, which was his 2nd series with the same pairing, got less than 8 points.
For those who keeps criticizing Pooh's acting and his character as Charlie. I think you guys have to go more in detailed about Charlie's character. You have to understand that Pooh is a fresh, new actor, of course, he would have his flaw as a NEW ACTOR. This is his FIRST drama and he's still young too, he wouldn't understand some emotions that needs to be portrayed by his facial expressions. However, I'd say his expressions are good and decent.
But according to his character, I have to say Pooh does a decent job portraying Charlie's character. An innocent-looking boy with glasses coming in X Hunter with a dream of meeting Pit Babe. Full of energy and innocence. Pooh portrays that very well. If I look at all 12 of the actors, no one fits Charlie's character more than Pooh. Nut does not have that innocent-looking and he suits Way's character more.
As for Babe and Charlie, Pavel and Pooh, this may be a preference but I have to say that these two have cute and hot chemistry between them. They are both a cute and charming couple. Their kisses are actually more natural than a lot of other BL couples' kisses out there. I feel their love and genuine feelings with each other through the scenes. Those that don't, maybe you like a more forced kisses, but the kisses between Pooh and Pavel are one of the most natural kisses I've seen in a series.
For me, Pooh is a good actor for a new actor. Once he grows older and have more experience, how will it be? So don't underestimate him just yet. Some of you have to remember that Pooh Krittin is a new, young, fresh actor and that this is his first drama, so yes, he has his flaws but to say he's a bad actor, that is too fast to say so. If you don't like him personally, keep it to yourself. Don't criticize him for things he can't control. He has spaces for improvement, so don't run your mouths calling him a bad actor just yet.
PS. I want more projects with Pooh and Pavel. I'm invested with these two :)
Edit: One more thing. If those that didn't watch Boys' Journey show of these 12 actors, then you may not know that Pooh is not only a new actor, but he's also new with life experiences, such as romance, love, and relationship experiences. He's fresh in everything. So he needs guidance with not only acting but also relationship and love. The boy has never been in a relationship before! That's why Pavel and the directors are guiding him. But even with a short-time guidance, he still did a decent job at it.
Who did he do and whose car gets in an accident in the preview for ep 10?
It's Babe's car, but the driver can be anyone. It could be Charlie cause he and Jeff made a plan, remember in episode 9 when he and Jeff were talking about taking risks in exchanging life for Babe? Charlie said, "Who said there will be a life exchange?" That's the biggest hint there. So the person in that car could be Charlie but there's something behind the crash. Don't worry. The main characters are save.
Yes they can, they can other wise to but as both are enigmas no one of them can get pregnant with each other
Just like AlphaxAlpha, right? Pete and Way can't get each other pregnant. Charlie and Babe can't get each other pregnant. That means Alan can get Jeff pregnant? Jeff must be a special Omega lol His behavior and pheromones show that Jeff is definitely an Omega.
Me too. I'd like to see them in another project with good writing. Their chemistry on-screen can improve. Their chemistry off-screen is natural and I find their brotherhood is cute and charming.
I was thinking that charlie has the power of absorption. So doesn't he have the most op powers. Like steal anyone's…
He can absorb Way's power, but he and Way have never interact with each other in touching or doing anything intimately with each other. So Charlie can't take Way's power, unless he touches him intimately. Charlie did touch Jeff before, but his way of touching Jeff wasn't an absorbing way. It's a normal touch. If it's a normal touch, then the person will not lose their powers. But the way Charlie touches Babe is the way of taking Babe's powers. He sucks Babe's powers by being close to him everyday and touches him intimately.
OVERALL BY YOUR STATEMENT: It seems like people jumped to conclusions & International should have left it in the…
If I think about it on Perth's side point of view, he probably thinks that he's not close enough to First or a lot of people in GMMTV yet, so he'll just leave it alone. Or maybe because of his past controversy, he didn't want to deal with the same thing like he did before. I don't know his reason, but yeah.
They're signing up with GMMTV and it will be their choices to what they're signing up for, they can sign up as…
Yeah, we'll see :) I don't know if the Alpha members will also cast in a series or not, but for sure, they are a first boy group from GMMTV :) Fluke, I don't know if you remember or watch his first series or not, but he appeared in Ai Long Nhai before he went on Project Alpha and sign under GMMTV. So yeah, this boy debuted as an actor before casting himself an an idol/a singer from GMMTV.
To be honest, the ones I see as actors are William, Nut, Fluke, Keen, Champ, PeemPeem, NewEarth, Prom, Otto, Phat, Kop, Time, and Korn. Their looks, characteristics, and expressions really suits as actors.
The ones I see as idols/world stars are Lego and Hong. These two have those obvious star qualities, their aura shines on stage, especially Lego.
As solo artists, I see Deaw, William, Fluke, Nicky, and Tui, they have that quality that suits as a solo.
As for actors and singers, I would say Fluke, William, Aungpao, Nut, Keen, PeemPeem, and Champ.
Okay, I got a clarification about the translation of the "jokes" that Foei and White made, and this clarification is from a native Thai gay person, he explained the "joke" that the two made. Sometimes, when translating a Thai word or even other Asian languages, the English words may sound harsh, but native Thai speakers understand the meanings and jokes. Let me paste that comment I got on Youtube here... I'm also Thai-Laotian. I understand some jokes, but not all jokes, but yeah.
"I'm gay and a native Thai. the word 'Set Yor' is the name of a Dance&Funny song that opens in a pub and trends on T..T.. Thailand (www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBLr8OFozwE). The ordinary meaning is 'you are the target' (part of the lyric) that White and Foei use it. It is true that slang meaning is used in jail. But not everyone knows the slang meaning because the full phrase (Set Yor Suu Tor Sut Por Song Hor Sai Khai) is no meaning in Thai and dismisses as a funny phrase and can be a trend on T..T.. You can't understand the slang language if u not google it. That's why only international fans are angry but native Thai understand their situation (It's very hard to translate and explain in English)."
Did you forget Phuwin Tangsakyuen? Dude! He came in GMMTV since 2018 along with Neo, First, Khaotung, Drake, and Frank!!! Did you forget him? But he was in the industry since 2015, and you forgot him?
You should've start from Season 1 lol That season was warming and fun too :)
I understand, and that's good :) Cause I also focus on the positive as well haha But yeah, I don't know if I'm going to watch it or not, probably just a glimpse. Anyways, I feel like Khaotung is more comfortable with Season 1 gang than Season 4, aside from TayNew and First, I feel like he doesn't know the others yet or not close to them before getting in the safe house. But yeah, I'm just saying, that's all, don't mind me lol
You should've start from Season 1 lol That season was warming and fun too :)
I'll try because I do like the people that you mentioned, the only person I don't know in Season 4 is Prom, I know the rest. The rest meaning everyone else, except Prom. I don't like Foei and White after what they did and say to First and Tay, and the teasing that First was calling Khaotung "cute" to the point that he got awkward, and the way Khaotung's the only one who's helping with the chores and that after New left. Since you've watched Season 4, were there anyone that you were disappointed with the actions about the criticisms the people in the house said or did? Okay, there may be 2 (Foei and White) who started those "jokes", but who were the ones that laughed and kept the teasing going?
You should've start from Season 1 lol That season was warming and fun too :)
Great :) I skipped Season 2 haha I will watch it after I watch Seasons 1 and 3 first. I'm on the 3rd Day on both seasons right now. I'm not going to watch Season 4 because according to the comments here about Season 4 was quite criticisms because two of the stars appearing there caused problems such as making unnecessary "jokes", making others feel awkward, and they were divided instead of getting close. Although I do have some favorite couples in that season, such as FirstKhaotung, TayNew, and GeminiFourth, but because of the comments made me feel scared to watch that season, since I understand the language. Plus, they said the games were boring too, compared to the 3 seasons. And I'm guessing, in that season there's probably no music because I don't see fans cut some parts from season 4 of them playing music and singing like the 3 previous seasons.
