If you watched many KDramas then you might remember that Korean Drinking age is 20 and most Campus Romance drama have scenes where Freshman's Drinks alcohol which means they're 20 in Freshman year !

So if you minus 3 years before Freshman Year which is HIGH SCHOOL period it comes to the age of 16 which is the final year of MIDDLE SCHOOL in South Korea ! I hope you understand !

The thing is every sports genre drama/movie/anime portray other countries as EVIL.... This is nothing new here ! And this is fictional as well. SBS also apologized about it.

Look at Indian content they mocked every big countries, Japan have a good relationship with US even they portray US Athletes as evil in many Anime !

Now if you think like everything in dramas/movies as real think about how many controversy would rise ! Awful Rivalry is part of the sport and they had to portray it somehow ! Don't take it seriously
