This man keeps a lighter on him but hasn’t smoked once, please 😭
Fun fact is in the novel he smokes, and often as well. Mumu doesn't say anything. Even their first kiss happens because he left not for a call but to go smoke and Mumu went to him.

In the series instead Mumu said he shouldn't smoke and there have been two scenes where he tried to smoke and she put the cigarette away. So I guess we don't see him smoking in scenes with her because she'd just not let him πŸ˜‚

I am currently watching the blood of youth and also unchained love
Thanks for the reply! How's blood of youth? I see there's Liu Xueyi and I really loved his performance in the two dramas I've seen him star in

Anyone has recs of good dramas they're watching after this? It's been months and I still can't get over it. I also loved love and redemption that I watched right after and that's another one I can't recover from. How are you all coping?

Out of all this, the only character I really love is gwang nam. I wished to see more of him, he’s the best baby ever

Reviews say that the novel is very diff from the drama
Ye I actually started reading it soon after I wrote the comment and it really is extremely different. I have a feel I will still love the drama more tbh. Thanks for the reply! ^^

I don't know if you've watched it already, but who rules the world is such a beautiful drama too. The FL here is also the FL there and the ML there is extremely in love with FL. It was also through WRTW that I found out about LLTG!

I have never seen this and never will but oh its one of those huh? Well if it makes you feel better I will not…
Well tbf they didn't make it seem like what he felt was because of the heart. They kinda played with this until the end where they revealed that what tian did was because he had read torfun's diary, that's why the parallelism. Actually I find the pain tian feels very real because he knows those are his own feeling and he's his own person but he questions everyone's acts as related to torfun. But again, I see what you mean when you say they always have a girl somewhere in there

Oh yeah I understand where you're coming from and I can't say anything not being a gay man myself, but I'm sorry you had to feel that way πŸ˜” hopefully their (earthmix) next drama will be a different case

I finished watching CLW yesterday promising myself that if the show tried to straightwash a gay relationship I'd nope out of it. I finished it, so that was not the case. I actually think the series has a lot of food for thoughts. But let's start with the most important part: Korn (earth) has had feelings for win (mix) for way longer than the body switch (and vice versa). Also for most part of the body switch you'll see win not Lin (the sister). My interpretation of it is based on one of the earlier episodes where a monk says its not the eyes that have to see but the heart, which is korn's approach but not win's at that point in the story. Aka in my opinion we see win because we're basically seeing what Korn sees with his eyes. It doesn't matter what's the body like, Korn sees win because it's him no matter the form. And this i think is also another thing the drama focuses on: true love cares not about form, its about the essence of that person being unique to them. Which also explains how Korn recognizes win exactly three seconds after seeing "win's sister" when the body switch happens. Sorry for the lengthy comment but I really think it deserves a try because it's much more than the classic body switch trope (and the cinematography was honestly impeccable)

Did you end up watching this? I've just finished Fuyao (loved it) and have the same question...
Sorry for the late answer. I did watch it and in the process I couldn't really get LoF vibes. Maybe the way they portrayed the love story could remind of LoF's leads for others, but for me it was a different experience (with its ups and downs, despite some choices/tropes I'm not too much of a fan of, I look at the memories of this drama fondly. I liked the leads a lot)
On Listening Snow Tower Jul 25, 2019
So, one review said it's similar to legend of Fuyao. I loved LoF, both the romance and the whole story in general. As someone who enjoyed Fuyao a lot and is looking for a very good drama to watch, is this one worth it? I'm asking because, other than that review I mentioned, the comments make me think the drama is pretty mediocre and I don't want to settle for a long drama, only to find out it's mediocre. Please let me know what you think~
On I Don't Love You Yet Jul 23, 2019
The original version is still one of my most cherished dramas, and one of the few I actually rewatched (both whole and some particular scenes). The Korean version was meh, okay, but not up to par, while the Chinese version was disappointing. I'm always excited to see a remake of this series, can't wait for it to finish airing and have a look~

the drama is a spin off of Eternal Love. Different story.
Yeah, I realized. It's just that the story reminded me somehow of the journey of flower's premise, in eternal love's word, that's why I said cross-over xD
