I've only watched him twice that I recall. I rated both as 8. I agree about the pacing for these short series. I normally place more responsibility on the screenwriter and director before the actors since the actors must take their cues from them. But, you can definitely tell when a pairing click together vs not even with the story and direction they are given.

Yes! I can't remember if I mentioned it to you, and if I did just ignore. But over 300 new people were submitted in the last 6 weeks (?), so approvals are behind. Especially with holidays and people do this as volunteers. Kudos for all their time and efforts!

These two have been paired several times and have great chemistry. Scorching kisses in this one for sure. Although, mostly forced. Chen Si does tall, dark, brooding and looming verra well! Li Rou Qi is beautiful and does trembling white rabbit well, lol. No surprises from the villains, for me. I wanted more for the ending. I might have to download this as well, lol! ;)

Zhang Chu Xuan is always fun to watch. Zhan Zhuo is the ML here. He was definitely a little puppy towards the FL. On the surface, fl is fairly strong and smart. Underneath that exists all the fragility of a person damaged by being "abandoned" and then sexually assaulted. Ml quickly because enamored of fl while hating himself for those feelings. A few good kiss scenes and decent chemistry. Made me smile some, too.

How far would you go for revenge? I can't help but wonder how her sister would feel about the FL sacrificing herself, giving up part of her soul, her dignity. The whole Lu family was severely messed up. If one is reared in that environment, how can one overcome that heritage? Not without tons of help. That being said, both of these actors can smoke up the screen with the right script. It's smoking in this one, even if the ML is aggressive and demeaning. Both played their role well. It's not everyone's cuppa, but I find myself asking more questions about human behavior in series like this. That may not be the intent of the screenwriter or director, but that's beside the point. It's what we, as the viewer, choose to take away. And, I did see some pretty impressive kisses, lol. ;)

Yummy combination! Loved that the ML was going to love the FL no matter what her past was. He loved her truly and wasn't going to be swayed by anyone to change his love. Not like her supposed husband. Loved that the 2nd ml's grandfather loved her so much. Loved the FL not looking back once she decided what she was going to do. Their chemistry was on fire and their kisses! Maybe I need to download this one.....

I loved the trust between the leads. Hardly any angst in this one even with the antics of the villains. Sweet romance, ok chemistry, but I didn't find the steamy kiss the tag implied, lol. Yeah, if you read my posts, you know I love a good kiss scene. Lol. I'll own that ;) I think I'm close to having watched about 75% of all the ones with that tag. Yes, it's a personal watch challenge ;)
