I guess I've watched some worse than this, because while the ML was "bad", I didn't find him as bad as I thought he would be. He definitely made obsessive look OBSESSIVE. And he was a lunatic for sure. But, it's all about the character and what made him that way. I think the main turning point for the FL was when her dad started to accept the ML, etc. Pretty spicy partial nudity scene to get past the regulators, lol. I wanted a better end, so I rated lower, but that's me. I revised my rating from 7.5 to 8.5 based on epilogue posted by Azet below. THANKS, AZET!!

I really like the pairing of these two. I loved how expressive Mie Mie was in this series. Especially the first half. A lot of her other work has her more one dimensional in character with little variation. Yes, some of it was on the ridiculous side, but still mostly fun to watch. The chemistry wasn't as good here and not much romance. However, I did like, and it was romantic, how he took care of her and cooked for her. Some early scenes were lol with her childlike innocent statements!

One of the things I like about these short series is you never know exactly how some of the dialog or story lines will make you think about things. Like in this one. The question the fl asks herself, by asking her deceased mother, is whether or not she can trust the feelings of the ML and also herself. Once a trust is broken, even by another person, how does one learn to trust again? It's not like I haven't seen this before, it's just that it struck me more at this time. Overall, I liked the premise that the ML was "hunting" her and chemistry was decent. Loved the friendship between fl and girlfriend. They had each other's back.

I love his voice. I laughed so hard at the scenes from the charity auction. I would have rated higher, but was left hanging with that ending. Maybe there is supposed to be a season 2? I think Zhen Zi Qi does dark and growly well, lol. Loved how many identities the FL had.

Well, ok then. Liked how the ML became protective of the Fl even though he realized she had ulterior motives. Got to say the scene where he kisses her back was short but a powerful image. Glad the bad people received karma and a satisfying end. Decent chemistry ;)
