The FL's father did not kill the ML's wife, his rival did it. You find that out at the very end in a flashback when the rival talks about "taking care of your women". I don't think the FL knew his wife, but that was just part of his torture/revenge.

OMGOSH! BOF was what started me down this rabbit hole 8 years ago, lol! Yeah, I want the ml to work for the fl's affection. And, if he's a jerk (like a lot of ml characters in Thai lakorns) then I REALLY want to see him trying to redeem himself.

I got to say the fl did irritate me some, but I try to put the characters in context to what their background is supposed to be. So, of course she was lacking some social skills because of her upbringing, lol. I tend to forgive a lot of details if I have a good "big picture" view. I loved the ML's devotion to the fl even though she couldn't care less for him to begin with.
