Now this is an extraordinary drama. I thought this was your standard predictable drama acted extremely well. By the very end of epi. 4 you are sooooooooooo intrigued you cannot wait to complete this drama. What a twist with Jo In Sung's character. I dare any Kdrama lover to quit this drama after epi. 4. I've seen countless dramas and without giving anything away I can see why they gave this drama so many tens. Excellent story line. What a script. Excellent actors.Can't wait to complete this drama.

I just finished this brilliant masterpiece. I've watched many kdramas and I have to put this in my top 5. I see the end as needing a little more explanation. I think the writers are trying to tell us Tae Yong woke up from his coma and fatefully runs in Park Ha at the juice shop. He remembers her from New York even after being in a comatose state. The king's costume is to show us that love transcends time. The last statements from the couple are very moving. Does anyone have a different take on the ending?

Ji Chang Wook is one of the best actors in dramas today. He was superior in Smile Again,Donghae and he was awesome in Five Fingers. He is a must see in Empress Ki.
