for both a sun and gwan sik ...they left their ambition cause of their children..it's just he is the silent type and have asian father's ways to show love to their children and as per what I am seeing he ans a sun both may have some regretts here and there liek any human beings but both of them are happy and there for their children and for wach other as well

it was so draining even to watch..he was a nice guy but becaus eof his haughty mother he was sad till the end

yeah....but he is way tooo modest..

Yang Gwan Sik seriously needs to realize one thing...he also deserves all happiness and he is a great husband and father

it is a JTBC series, they don't get that much ratings and it was aired along with our blues which is a series starring huge faces yet this series managed to get good buzz and ratings. it also got nominated for best drama in the prestigious Baeksang Arts Awards along with 4 other dramas- the glory, our blues,little women and extradordinary attorny woo..all famous an huge hits

because Gwansik is the most romantic and sweetest among all male leads

I cried so much while watching this series especially by the bond between father and daughter and that waving scene in the bus stand ..and loved that scene where Gwan Sik let Ae sun enjoy herself after winning the chief election, Gwan Sik is no Rich CEO, he is not going to act childish, arrogant and jealous, he is not borderline narcistic and try to control Ae sun like your typical rom-com male leads that's why he is the sweetest and best male lead that know how to support while being side by side ..greenest flag ...the best written husband out of all k-drama

if you look at Jisoo's filmography she always selects very challenging roles, whether her character in Arthadal chronicals, Snowdrop or Newtopia or even Omiscent reader...she may not be the best actor but if she keeps choosing such kind of intense roles she will definanlty learn and grow..it is way better to select an intense role and get criticism so early in yoru career and grow instead of keep selecting surface level characters and hide yoru flaws

they both have some strange preference is choosing the most traumatized character

I just simply dropped it after watching few episodes, a very very unpopular opinion but I used to find male lead very pushy and the whole town people so annoying

you can see the high rating ..which also means several people also like it...so it's all about your preference. I honestly feel that the first few episodes were kinda boring, while how the situation kinda f*cked up in later episodes is the best thing about this series

different people can have different taste in music, movies or series..for example you find it terrible while I actually loved it ..mayeb it was not yoru cup of tea ?

most of the people on mdl like cringefest kdrama rom-com where leads act like high schoolers while being in their 30s...it is unfair to expect positive comments here ..though you can still find some good comments and I watched it when it aired first(it is my new account) and the comments used to be very good and positive and the series is actually a hit and critically acclaimed as well..

true, it is the woman who has to invest her health and kinda compromise it for her whole life so ofcourse she should be ready both mentally and physically and should have a final say...

I agree that people should not get physical without protection unless and untill they want to conceive ..and I am not demonizing men or anything , my point is there is a huge difference bwteen the sacrifices of women and men in giving birth..pregnacy can affect a women both physically and mentally and those effects can stays throughout life..it is the woman who has to grow it inside of her , has to be both mentally and physically prepare for it so I personally feel that the decision of a woman should be final

but it is only the female who has to bear all the suffering for 9 months..has to compromise her health and even after birth females have so many health issues both mentally and physically..if the share of sacrifice and investment is not at all equal how can you say both should have equal rights to say?
