I wanted to watch a currently airing drama and came across this one. I saw the comments on MDL, and while many people didn't like it, I'm actually enjoying it so far. I'm on Episode 9 now. The story is developing well. I've noticed a lot of comments about the soldier who speaks both English and Korean. Here's my headcanon: I think he grew up in the States and only spoke English, eventually forgetting his mother tongue. When he returned to Korea, he wanted to relearn the language, which is why he speaks English and Korean at the same time.
Also, to those who want to try this drama: give the first couple of episodes a shot and decide from there. Don't rely solely on reviews or comments, even mine. People have different tastes in dramas. You decide what you like. Go into this with an open mind.
Don't let the negative comments get to you—give the drama a shot. I was hesitant due to reviews, but it turned out to be a delightful surprise, and I genuinely enjoyed it.
Also what the hell happened to the Uncle's Prophecy? Still waiting for an answer to that. The shaman said Soo-Jung's baby had two fathers... and one of them was the Uncle! I want the answers but I think the writers forgot about that plot....
Joon-Ha, my favorite character, should have taken the baby abroad. Flipping his evil character arc into something mind-blowingly complex and intriguing. Would've been a better ending to the episode. 1 more episode to go.. God this drama has fallen off so hard. Can't wait to move on.
100 episodes? Ive never come across 100 in korean dramas!are they going to drag it out or multiple layers/chapters…
I've watched quite a few 100+ episode k-dramas. If you're thinking about diving into this realm, my recommendation is to start by reading reviews and comments. This will give you a sense of what others think before you commit to the journey of watching these lengthy dramas.
If I were to suggest a 100+ k-drama to ease you into this world, "Once Again" would be a fantastic choice. It strikes a great balance between engaging storytelling and the everyday drama of life. You can find more about "Once Again" here: https://kisskh.at/44611-i-have-been-there-once
All that wait for nothing... Finally finished... Woo-Hyeol dies in the last episode but magically comes back in the final scene of the drama. There's no explanation as to how he's alive; he just stands there and looks at In-Hae. So it's a good ending. The cat had the gold and kept it safe for when Woo-Hyeol was supposed to become a human. But since he died, he gave the gold to In-Hae. There are so many unanswered questions. One of them is: How did In-Hae open the casket? At least everyone was happy at the end. The vampire villain, Man-Hwi, deserved a better ending in my opinion. I enjoyed him as the villain. Overall, the show felt dragged out, and it was an okay drama.
